41:15 It does make sense, it's actually a reference to the 1st movie.
Before leaving the zoo, Martin complains that he doesn't know if he's white with black stripes or black with white stripes. Later, on their first night in Madagascar, Alex dreams with beef and licks Martin (cause he was starting to feel hungry). When they catch him, Alex tries to brush it off by saying "28, 29, 30. 30 black and 29 white, so it looks like you're black with white stripes. problem solved!" [btw is at 38:57 in your reaction if you want to check the scene]
Honestly I like how they brought that back in this movie, it shows how Alex is not that selfish and actually listens to / care about Martin's feelings.
Technically that is true about zebras
My favourite moment probably is "maternity leave":
Skipper: Maternity leave?
(looks under the table)
Skipper: You're all males!
Or penguins running over the old lady:
Skipper: Did we kill her?
Private: No.
(start going backwards)

Madagascar 2 is getting crazier. Nana is back, more crazy actions, great songs and funniest moments. This was Bernie Mac's last animated role before his passing. RIP legend

Madagascar is a country of Africa. However, most of its flora and fauna are unlike any other continent, with so much being exclusive to the island. Some have even nicknamed it the eight continent for this reason.
It also originated from Asia's portion of the former super continent (specifically India), only being considered part of Africa today because it eventually drifted closer.
