I don't really understand what you're trying to say here. It was epic, the song was great to a great fit. The Blue Planet and Planet Earth series have plenty of feeding frenzies in them and each one has some feeding frenzy music composed with it, it may even be the same piece used over or other parts of it. And even beyond the Planet Earth documentaries, there have been a great many number of nature documentaries created in the world... each with its own music recorded or borrowed, so I am very sure that there have been a fair number of composers throughout the years that have been asked to make a track for the Sardine/Anchovie/Herring/Smelt shoal getting attacked by larger predators scene and then the composers making it quite "epic." Like, I don't think that is a rare occurrence, especially in the context of the "Planet Earth" crew, they have epic music for nearly every scene in their films. So it'd definitely not that surprising that it warrants a comment like yours... It's just such a strange comment and so many people upvoted it. Is it because you guys all actually don't think this huge shoal of sardines IS NOT epic??? Is that it? You saw it yourself, it was fucking crazy, and brutal. Yes...it's beautiful because we do not see it often. It probably happens every single day and still humans can eat sardines. In other words, if it doesn't happen, sardines will overpoppulate and there will be some sort of imbalance.
You need to get your eyes checked. BBC earth never fakes footage: they spend hundreds of weeks filming to wait for footage that happens to pass the cameras. And you don't seem to know much about life in the ocean haha..
This was filmed by BBC for blue planet, it took 6 years to make the 6 episodes and that's why they end up with footage like this, every episode has great stuff like this
Krill have it even harder, they are constantly being eaten by the biggest animal of all time(bigger than even the mighty Argentinosaurus), the Blue Whale
I come back to watch this clip every so often; the score and cinematography for this is just amazing, and paired with Mr. Attenborough, it really does capture the wonders of life.
God this is one of the best videos on the platform. The camera work, the music, the narration, and every person involved worked hard to make this incredible display of natural wonder come to life. Impeccable work.
Whomever did the music composing for this scene is a genius! They deserve a raise, BBC! Use them on everything you do! It sounded like battle music from something like Game of Thrones! The video alone was already so intense, but with that composition, it was literally breathtaking! ❤️❤️❤️
There are so many things I am impressed with!!! From the sardines moving together like that in the thousands, to birds that swim and hunt underwater, the knowledge of tuna to block their escape and just the sheer teamwork from the predators. Absolutley nuts. AND THAT WHALE IS HUGE!!!!
Has this clip ever been topped since? I mean, the camerawork, the epic (and not even slightly annoying) musical score in the background, and OG Attenborough himself. I just...I havent found anything better yet..

This is videography at its finest
It's all original geevibezz..
You need to get your eyes checked. BBC earth never fakes footage: they spend hundreds of weeks filming to wait for footage that happens to pass the cameras. And you don't seem to know much about life in the ocean haha..
This was filmed by BBC for blue planet, it took 6 years to make the 6 episodes and that's why they end up with footage like this, every episode has great stuff like this
Son Goku amazing
Really confused whether graphic video or real
Notice how all the other predators scattered just before the whale attacked.
Whale : "It's my turn."
Lion: Im the Boss
Whale: Hold my fin
The whale took the last hit
They heard the boss music
@@AndreanRiska LMAO

I guess those Sardines can truly complain "Life is Unfair"
White women - "I'm so oppressed, my Rose wasn't chilled.."
Sardines "..."
They surely ate a lot of meat before they die.
To be fair it should been planktons
Krill have it even harder, they are constantly being eaten by the biggest animal of all time(bigger than even the mighty Argentinosaurus), the Blue Whale
This is one of the best scenes of wildlife that I ever saw. Outstanding BBC!
Filipe Santos this shows just how important a comma is in some sentences 😂
Outstanding BBC huh?😏😂
@@god985 He loves BBC's.
Big black ****
I come back to watch this clip every so often; the score and cinematography for this is just amazing, and paired with Mr. Attenborough, it really does capture the wonders of life.
That was cooler than any space battle in Star Wars.
God this is one of the best videos on the platform. The camera work, the music, the narration, and every person involved worked hard to make this incredible display of natural wonder come to life. Impeccable work.
"...are you going to finish that?" - whale to the rest of the party
Whale: Hold my beer

That whale is me at a pizza party.
me too om nom nom nom
The whale is me literally anywhere that involves food
Whomever did the music composing for this scene is a genius! They deserve a raise, BBC! Use them on everything you do! It sounded like battle music from something like Game of Thrones! The video alone was already so intense, but with that composition, it was literally breathtaking! ❤️❤️❤️
Steven Price
I totally agree
Plot twist.
The whale actualy come to rescue those sardines 😬
Me playing deeeep.io as a whale
Just like how the Whale scooped up Marlin and Dory to Sydney..

Shark: “hold my beer”
Dolphins: “hold my beer”
Whale: “drinks are on me”
Whale: "hold my wine"
Your foot
everything changed when the tuna nation attacked
Frekingggg
whale: "duck my sick"
There are so many things I am impressed with!!! From the sardines moving together like that in the thousands, to birds that swim and hunt underwater, the knowledge of tuna to block their escape and just the sheer teamwork from the predators. Absolutley nuts. AND THAT WHALE IS HUGE!!!!
The moment them sardines heard David Attenborough's voice they shoulda got outta there.

Those are pilot fish. They clean the shark's teeth.

@@sammysam05 is it 3rd person visual preception?
Ronin I mean I’m not sure but personally I don’t think it looks real.
Tactical Aioli well don’t you think that all of these “ close ups” wouldn’t really be possible and that the animals would be scared off by them?
Might be CGI
This is honestly the most amazing piece of animal cinematography ever created.
An amazing video! Poor sardines though. They fought hard and bravely to survive till their last breath!

Marvel movies: tons of cgi for one Avengers battle
_Literally nature_ : *THIS*
Looks like spectacular CGI, but it's just another tuesday in Nature
@Sonic The Artist This ain't CGI... You have yo watch all of David Attenborough's documentary. He explains how everything is shot this beautifully.
@Sonic The Artist yes... Divers and recon subs...
The dedication of the film crew was extraordinary...
@Sexy Uchiha yup
@Sexy Uchiha waterproof cameras exist and for every good nature video you see, there is probably weeks worth of tracking, organising, filming and planning. Just because you cant imagine how it's possible doesnt mean it isnt.
