17:43 Slim opening up about how toxic it is to always be the bad guy reminded me of the Benzino breaking down podcast moment. Wonder who Marshall was really calling a snowflake in that moment 🙃
Someone else commented that apparently Benzino said the exact same line 'it's toxic to be the bad guy' or whatever. Definitely a shot. It's hilarious 😂
This is genius - introspective, funny, intelligent art. Finger on the pulse of modern culture and attention to detail is on point, as always. There is no end to this man's talent. lol you think him being Slim shady is immature it’s just an alter ego, nothing serious, even Marshal knows that, plus he’s not actually gonna get rid of Slim he’s just saying that just to say it, Slim will always be apart of who he is in his music.
It's kind of true that when i think of Eminem, i think of the slim shady era.. when he had joke songs rather then serious stuff . back when people weren't hyper sensitive to everything and you didn't have to tiptoe around people's feelings.. a much better time to be alive back in the 90's

You couldn't be more wrong. When he was spitting on the grave he was wearing Air Max 90s and in this video he's wearing Jordan 6s. You must not be a sneaker head AT ALL. Clear as day different shoes bud 👍
Something else is definitely brewing. The death of slim shady was clearly inspired by the 3 series Superman comic books. 1st comic was “The Death of Superman”, 2nd was “the world without Superman”, and the 3rd was “the return of Superman”. “Eminem” is the persona that always referred to himself as Superman. He even had the “Superman” track on the Eminem Show 🤔

This comes out after the album and Marshall is talking to slim. Eminem is missing. This kind of confirms the listening to the album backwards theory because slim is here and Eminem is actually the one who is gone.
"I want more..." Yes, Clifford, we all want more! I particularly like "You Made Me" along with the video for it. It's funny Em, which I love. But, Relapse is a classic album in my mind. He does one last accent in "Not Afraid" when he says the line :I've run them accents into the GROUNNNND!" With "ground" being the word with the accent used on it. I believe that the Gin and Juice beverage is already on the market as of a month or two ago. As for a possible project, you would know better than us. This was great. I can't wait for part 2 or Side B of TDOSS. Slim Shady going off for the last time? "Fucking fantastic!"
This is great. I love the concept of using a slim shady hologram or whatever and having an inner dialogue on a literal level. It's like he's airing out all his inner feelings in a super creative way. Also about Relapse: the older I get the more I realize I and many others gave that album more hate than it deserved. I think it's because he lost a TON of good will with his fans after Encore. That's when I really checked out bc I like Mockingbird and Toy Soldiers but there was also Ass Like That and Just Lose It and that just wasn't it. So I think his big come back not being a 5 star banger was really like "oh....he's not back..." But once you get passed the accents you find a LOT of good material on there. 3 AM, My Mom, Same song and Dance, Stay Wide Awake, Hello, and Underground were all awesome songs. Insane tried a little too hard with the gross out/molesting/felching bars, We Made You was a little cookie cutter "diss celebrities and offend folks" I'd prob give Relapse a 6 or 7/10 and Encore a 3 or 4 out of 10 and that's mainly because of Yellow Brick Road, Toy Soldiers, Mosh and Mockingbird
After returning from my 4th deployment to Iraq , my mind completely snapped. Relaps dropped and I could relate to the dark place Em was at. So i started putting my darkness in my head on paper drawing, and taught myself to do my own tattoos, instead of cutting. Not his Greatest, but most effective. Then Revival helped with emotional stuff
I’m an old Eminem fan. Went to my first Eminem concert at the London Astoria in 1999 when I was 18 (yeah that old 🙈). I’ve followed his career from the start and this album and segment is epic. He’s absolutely nailed it. Despite being a fan from the start I wasn’t a big relapse fan and don’t like we made you at all BUT that album did give us Deja vu and I think that’s one of his most under rated song along with legacy off the Marshall Mather’s lp 2.
If the thing with backwards listening is true, then I think there will be Side B and the renaissance track might be the intro of it Other than that, the “I can smell it” thing was funny af man I love you Cliff 😂
Side Note: 14:52 That Gin and Juice could be a reference to the interview Snoop, Dre, and 50 cent did earlier this year. Dre said he was dropping an album this year called Missionary a.k.a the flipside of Doggystyle
Im sure this interview happened during the time houdini was shot because Em actually shaved his beard for that video and in the BTS footage there was a part where he was complaining about his shoe falling off and he was beardless, so i guess it was around that time this interview was made...freaking GENIUS
I have to disagree. I love Relapse and Refill. I would argue that those albums taught Eminem one of his most important and unique skills he has in his Bag today, that nobody else can do like him. Before Relapse he was never bending and manipulating words like he can today. Those accents unlocked something and taught him how to manipulate and warp words to fit into his rhyme schemes. I know Em hates relapse too but I think he learned something that has benefitted him in his rhymes ever since then from that Era of his discography.

He's doing it to hype up the next album that he's dropping. Remember, $0.50, LL Cool J and Dr. Dre said they were on the album, we've yet to see any of them
Bro, Em is not retiring anytime soon... LOL. He knows he's at his sharpest in every way.. I think this Slim Shady being back in the mix is even more fun to him. And he always said he'll quit when he feels like he can't compete with the new generation anymore or he gets bored of it.. He's just beat Drizzys record at the #1 spot and he's having more fun than usual because of all the Shady business going on. There's a few ways he could flip this.
What I haven’t seen mentioned, Slim is digitally cutting in and out, like all of the Eminem figures at the beginning of the Tobey video. And, the Jason mask flashing over Slim’s face…like one of the Eminem figures at the end of the Tobey video. I’m just not sure exactly what those things mean. Maybe it’s just a nod/acknowledgement to the use of AI, that Slim’s a digital mirage. But I feel like there’s deeper meaning. Everything has deeper meaning with this man. 😂 I do think there’s another project (maybe even two) coming in the near future. And I think that will help clarify things.

That Ozempic jealousy line and the bbl slizzy line were complete Drake disses. It’s great. lol
Fire reaction man 🔥
Side B :) I feel like this would of been dropped before the album if it was only one album. That's just me. This was gold!!
Em referencing Paul Rudd on hot ones is the cherry on top.
This was off the chain, 😂😂 the mgk statement. I was like wtf.
I think Slim even said 'chiple entendre' instead of 'triple' ... and yes, I could watch/listens to this for at least an hour too !
55 years old grandma who loves Eminem!
Hope he does a part two from Eminem’s side!
The Slim Shady saying "It Wasn't Me" was a reference to the Congress Woman that accidentally claimed Eminem Wrote It Wasn't Me
I love Relapse and I love Revival. Actually there's no album I haven't liked from Em. But those two helped me get through some s#it.
I want more!!!
They got Slim Shady so real omg. 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
Cliff had me at the end" I want more"
I would love to see 2 more albums. The next being a battle between slim and marshall, the second being an album by the winner.
This is brilliant!
3am, my mom, stay wide awake, deja vu, and beautiful are some of his best songs…
I do think there’s another project (maybe even two) coming in the near future. And I think that will help clarify things.
Hmmm maybe Jason, yk since he’s a killer is prob just hinting that Slim will kill Marshal? Idk man 😭
OHHHH WAIT AND ALSO
Like u said in the 1rst paragraph, last sentence it had shown Eminem was DEAD BC JASON KILLED HIM IN THE TOBEY VIDEO
I love the Paul Rudd interviews Paul Rudd little bit at the end lol.
