I miss him. Like how I miss my old converse. The ones I drew on with sharpie. Little doodles and careless mistakes. Tripping over our laces falling into something we didn't quite understand then. Something I don't quite understand now.
I wish I could see him again. Just once. Ask him the questions I didn't get to when he was still here. To hold the hands I was too scared to grasp. To tell him all the things I never said.
I wonder if he'd like the me I grew to become. The places I've travelled. The songs I sing. All the stories I've written. I wonder what he'd say if he read the one I made of him. Maybe he'd laugh. Maybe he'd cry. Maybe he'd tell me everything would be alright.
But that's alright. I know everything will be okay. I know it'll turn out alright. I know because he taught me that through the pain there's a beauty. Something soft and safe. A reprieve. After pain, there is rest.

I know they whisper everything to your ears as you fade to sleep. I'm stargazing and thinking. Thinking of us, thinking of what could have been if it wasn't for the fate. It bound us to other ways, to other worlds... But I remember your smile, your laughter, I remember your soft skin and honeygolden hair. The memories. Every night I remember what was it like when you were here. Every night I tell the stars our story. Every night I stargaze. I know you stargaze too. The stars told me.
Yeah, everybody, let's go have nice stargazing moment together at the top of the hill. Just all of us in silence, mesmerized by the shiny specks of white in the night sky. Some would be snacking on munchies, some would be sleeping, and some would be staring at the sky for countless of hours. Wouldn't that be a nice memorable moment to remember..✨

the thought of stargazing with someone who loves you would be the best feeling. the smell of grass and the touch of their hand makes you feel safe. you think about how lucky you are to be with them every second of that moment. their eyes sparkle while looking up into the sky while you stare at them in awe. the breeze of the warm summer air calms you both with pleasure. you guys slowly hold hands and your mind is going crazy with lovely thoughts. you fall sleep in their arms and you hear their steady breath as they exhale. they stare at you with a smile and hold you tighter. you awake from the wonderful dream and have to continue to live reality doing the same thing everyday.
im a hopeless romantic and really love imagining and writing these type of things. makes me feel warm inside.
that writing is so good! i too like to imagine these type of things that makes me feel something i can't really explain, but im not very good at putting them into words and sentences. so seeing someone can do it so amazingly, is just *chef's kiss*😩👌

Her face was bright as she gazed onto the galaxy-lighten sky. The plants seemed to dance around her feet, curling onto her bare feet. The herbs she picked were slightly neon from the reflection. Her hair was filled with flowers. She sat down onto a a patch of bare grass and stared down a little pond. She couldn't hear, and people mocked her. They said she was dumb, and that she shall never understand the world like they do. But she didn't care. She took it as a compliment. Perhaps she would never hear morning birds sing, or a sweet lullaby. Perhaps nobody will ever tow whisper into her ear, But she loved that. She loved gazing at the sky and think. "You fools. I can see brighter than you. I can imagine brighter than you. I can enjoy the world in its beauty better than you ever shall. I'm deaf, But I see the world through clear eyes. " The galaxy seemed to nod in approval, for it was brighter. The glimmers of the multi colored stars stared onto her. The trees shimmered around her blue dress. The plants twirled around her. This was her world, and nobody could ever say that she didn't understand it, for it understood her.
Very random but... the first time I saw a shooting star was at the age of 16 and it was when I was with my two best pals. I not only saw one but TWO shooting stars! At the time I was struggling a bit with my mental health again and was talking to my friends about mental health and stuff when I saw the shooting stars. I took it as a sign that everything was going to be just fine. I find it pretty amazing how symbols of hope can appear out of nowhere, in anytime and any place and in whatever form. To some it can be a shooting star, and to another it can be the smile of their best friend or the kindness of a stranger. To all those wanting to give up, I know its really hard but please don't give up! You can do this, WE can do this. You may not know me and I may not know you but I BELIEVE IN YOU! YOURE DOING A GREAT JOB AND IM PROUD OF YOU💗😊💓💞💕

There is something about the stars that touches me in a calm and soothing way, because I never feel like I have to justify or explain it. It just is there and stays there.

Yo, the title was a great prompt. I had to. But I can't wait to listen to the playlist.
Her iridescent eyes would grace the midnight sky, a chill breeze blessing her with nostalgia as it danced with tendrils of her glossy hair. She tightened her grip on his jacket, knowing it would defend her from the cold, just like his arms used to do. Thoughts whirled in her mind, a tornado that brought heartbreak and sadness. She exhaled, her breath misting in the air.
Memories plagued her mind, his soft lips pressing against her skin and drawing sounds from her. His touch like ink, blotching and staining bits of her life until she could no longer see the white that had been there before. Lost, drowning in all of him. He was a tidal wave, crashing onto the beaches of her life and eroding years of hard work. He had taught her how to love and live, but also the experiences of hate and regret.
She could still imagine his bouncing curly red hair, how she would run her fingers through the lengths and braid it. All while smiling and joking with him. A humorless laugh escaped her, tears trekking down her cheeks. He had always had a mischievous glint in his cool cucumber eyes, she had just never known how much it would impact her. Oh, how she would get lost in his gaze. Smitten for this person who was going to eventually leave her. She had seen all of her dreams in there, hopes and desires being reflected in the pits of his emerald irises. He had wasted no time giving her all she had ever fantasized yet also giving her what she had feared most.
Her eyes graced the midnight sky once again, a chill breeze comforting her grief-stricken mind as it toyed with her hair. She slipped out of his jacket, careful not to tear the fabric and laid it onto the grass. It wasn’t needed to defend her from the cold anymore, she had grown to see that now. Slowly, she stood up. The tornado in her mind dissipating, leaving behind wreckage that she would rebuild into a happiness of her own. And she stared at the stars, thanking them for clarity and left the open field.

Do you ever look at the stars and feel like they're staring back? Sometimes I like to pretend they're listening. Just listening. I tell them about how beautiful they are and how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful planet. I even watch them from my window with a smile, sometimes looking at them even makes me cry.
She stares up into the sky as the few precious moments they had together flash in her mind like a canvas painted in gray. She tries to retrieve the bittersweet moments they had together as she lays in the cold moonlit night beams of her skin. She remembers how she gazed at his face just as she is gazing at the moon. It seems as the few nights they had together wasn't enough, just as the eternity he promised to her flashed away into oblivion. Now it seems that all she has left is the moon which is mocking her with its bright gleam of light, jealous of the way it can be with the stars but she may not be with him. If only she knew how much can change in one night, if only she knew. But one person can only be so blind to love for what it's worth, his empty lies and dead morals suffocates her frail heart screaming at her whilst it mind gets relieved of the thought that she never lost a true lover, only a person with a few empty promises. She looks calm in the moonlight but her head is spinning, how can one person be so blind to love? Well atleast she knows that she experienced true love even if it was fake. Yet deep down she knows she will always love him.

I remember so perfectly now.
The world seemed to be spinning around us. You acted as if we were the center of the universe.
We were dancing to this song you fell in love with that same evening, you said it reminded you of me.
I thought that was the cheesiest thing ever, yet you were so happy, I just smiled.
I soon got dizzy. You decided it was better to lay down and wait for a shooting star.
After no more than five minutes we shaw one, I remember wishing for that moment to never end.
I guess I didn't wish hard enough...
Now I'm here, same place, same song, yet I'm alone now.
I see a shooting star but the only thing I can wish for is you. I guess I'm getting over you though, I don't wish for you to come back, that'd be selfish. I wish for you to be happy.

I close my eyes and finish our song while I feel a tear down my cheek. I know I'm going to be okay
Stargazing and listening to music like this reminds me that someday this all will be just a memory. I like stargazing, because it remind me how tiny I am, just a little piece of dust in the grand scheme of the universe. There'll be so many people after I die, someday I will be forgotten and I wonder if anyone will think about a figure like me while gazing up to the same stars I used to. It makes me sad and nostalgic, a feeling I can't quite grasp.
They both lay in the grass watching the stars as they cherish their last moment together..
"I'll come back, though. Don't worry. How could I stay away?"
"I don't know if I can wait," she said, her throat aching.

And here I am, I last saw her four years ago, but my feelings are still there. Staring at the stars, thinking about my time with Lenora. Unbeknown to me, quite far away, a girl sat under the stars too, her caramel hair curled at the end.
“I love you Lenora” I say into the quiet night. Wishing that the wind would carry my words to her.
And hundreds of miles away, the girl, in a newer, whiter dress brushes her fingers over our photograph together.

Round and round she went, throwing her arms into the sky, pulling everything good and true towards her as though she was the centre of her very own universe. When she got dizzy she fell onto the grass. She turned to him and he pushed the hair out of her face and as he looked into her eyes he wondered if his paint would ever do her justice.

Tbh i dont have much friends so i love staring into the stars i just know the beautiful lights and the big glowing moon has to be the perfect place for me :) even if i was away frim the ones i love space has to be so perfect... So beautiful its so beautiful, with all the glowing lights and the pretty shades of dark blue :) with the stars lightning it up. I just know its probably the best place :D

I just want someone to be proud of me. My friends hardly every ask how I feel, I’m never asked if I drank water, if I ate, no one ever checks on me. The only person who ever asks me how I am is a boy I’ve never met and we only rarely text.I don’t bring it up because I don’t want them to do these things because they think it’ll make me feel better, it’ll make me feel worse because they only thought to do it when I mentioned the fact i was sad no one did. I just want to change schools, block everyone, change my number, have a fresh start. I want to sort my life out but I just can’t. I know these people aren’t good for me but I don’t want to loose them. They were good for me to begin with, they did used to help, but now they just presume I’m all good. I’m not. I just want someone to care.
