He's just quarantining it in that tank. I think he learned his lesson about putting stuff straight into the point when everything got infected with parasites not too long ago.

The emperor and queen Angel are two different species of pomacanthids. Emperors are P. Imperator, Queens are Holacanthus ciliaris

I think setting up a quarentine would work wonders for the future. It also gets more content, catching wild fish and quarentining them is one video and then you can make a video adding them to a tank aswell.

@Ak Fishing that’s not a good sign! The emperor angelfish is native to the Red Sea, Indian and Pacific ocean. You shouldn’t be seeing any in the Caribbean!

Not positive either but when he nets the fish out of the tank u can clearly see that it’s fins are messed up, they look red on the edge and looks as if half of it is missing. possibly fin Rot. I wouldn’t have even bought that fish after seeing that it could have a disease and if I didn’t have a whole separate system to qt it in

Emperor angel fish are so majestically beautiful. Tropical marine fish are some of the most beautiful fish in the world.
I got to be honest about your saltwater pool. I had a saltwater pool system using one of those Intex style pools before. It was actually such a low salinity that it didn't even come close to saltwater for fish. Within a year all of my connecting joints for the legs had started to rust away because the salt had started to speed up oxidation. I would be very cautious and keep an eye on those connections

Emperor is one of my favorites.I dove with them in the Red Sea and had several in my aquarium. Couldn't tell if his eyes were clear or not.

.. I think that Julius Caesar did proclaim himself emperor n dictator upon his return to Rome on (approx) 40bc . Tis Amazing what control of the army's can have upon democratic process of the Senate . The folks who succeed him also added being the God OF Rome n beyond to the title as well. There's a wonderful TV show called Rome that is quite a good deep dive to look into such histories if you wish to explore this instead of reading the historical record.
