From a life long Gator fan, I always loved Coach Bowden, my dad and I used to play a lil game called who would you like to sit on the front porch with for a few hours, and my answer was most always coach Bowden! I swear it would have been the best thing just to sit there with him and listen to him talk! Rest easy Coach 😢

I'm a huge Noles fan! I lived in Tallahassee when Bowden won his first national title. What a great coach, man and role model he was! He will always be FSU! Go Noles!

My condolences to his wife and family. He loved FSU and will always be the face of that program and a legend of that university.
What a great coach, what a great man and christian. I was lucky to met him 1989, I was a 24 year old football coach from Cologne Germany. He invited me to FSU where I could learn the game of football. I came every year for two weeks during the Season and met wonderful people (Coach Jim Gladden espacially). Next to everything else I learned a lot about live and faith. Thank you so much coach.
As an old canes fan I love coach Bowden & the only time I rooted against him was when he played my canes my condolences to the FSU family & his family we have truly lost a great man & human being

His "dad gum its" were memorable, and there will never be another BobbybBowden! You could not help pulling for him. College football will miss this giant of a man! Some of my best memories in my life was watching Coach Bowden and the Florida State Noles versus the Gators or Canes. He will be remembered more as a Great Man he changed so many lives as coach at FSU. REST IN PEACE COACH
