Agree!! I do love that floral cover but I won't be using it for now at least...I already got a wild hair and disassembled my Makselife planner though so it will be with different covers instead of the floral 🤣🤣 I frankenplanned my 2024 planner a couple days ago.
OMG...LOVE the Croc cover. 🤤My first planner and the ones I still use are from Yellow Paper House on Etsy. They are Traveler's Notebook size. Love them! I have my eye on the 9" x 7" JUNQUE JOURNAL for my next junk journal. ☺
@@SamisSweetLife I use Junk journals for all the things "normal" people probably throw away. Ha! Like movie stubs, napkins with logos on them, tags from clothes, stickers!, receipts, peoples phone numbers, contacts, information that i want to add to or look back at like a TV show series, games or books...etc. Anything really. LOL!
Lovely! Totally going on my future plans list of planners. So smart to have a folio design with many pockets & moveable/removable snap closure! I find the closure tab can get in the way at times when writing & if I’m not taking the planner outside the house I don’t need to snap it closed anyway. Love more of a planner cover at times as well as the option to add the snap closure whenever I want it to travel away from my desk. Thnx also (I think in another video) for the international fees reminder, since I’m in US as well as Have you done a deep dive video into this paper? I’m not familiar with it, altho I have used very thin paper in the past, & I’m curious how it got that name & how it holds up in pen tests. I do love journaling paper that gets an imprinted feel, increased texture from ink & pen pressure of writing, but I don’t care for bleed thru/ghosting on my to-do lists or collections pages so I tend to go with thicker paper for practical use & thinner for journaling/dairy. I so appreciate your comment! I wouldn't have even thought to just take out the snap and leave it without but it's genius! You will 100% see ghosting on the tomoe river paper but not much if any bleed through. It's such forgiving paper as far as using juicy pens or fountain inks. It does take a few moments to dry with some inks, but it's worth it for me. I didn't think I would enjoy the TRP, but I LOVE IT and most of my planners and notebooks moving forward will be that paper. I don't have a dedicated paper review video, but I have a few pen test videos so you will really get a good feel for how it performs. I will link them below for you. Also I am going to link a video where I just talk about the TRP planners in general and I show one after months of use so you can see how it bulks up and just gets fantastic. I think the fluffy crinkly paper is just one of the best things about these types of planners. If you have any more questions about it, make sure you let me know. Hopefully AE company offers you good merch or credits for demo’ing these planners & folios, cause it’s helped sell them for me. 😆 If I recall, you’re a lefty & if so that snap tab closure might not even get in your way like it does for a right handed writer. That impracticality placed tab is what made me think a simple planner cover, with no closure, would be a better idea for me than a folio with a tab or a full fold-over closure (like the Makselife folio I just bought, which is lovely but probably impractical for everyday use). But I do love a closure option & this AE folio would be perfect. And I think you’re right that I’d probably fall in love with the TRPaper, since I like the Moleskin & my LT1917 paper. And I’ve probably watched your TRPaper videos before but since it wasn’t on my radar yet, I didn’t pay close attention so thanks for the links!
