No need to download that software if you have iTunes, but the volume up/down and then on-off button instruction was helpful for getting iPhone 13 that froze mid-update to change screens after a few hours.
this is real story. my iphone is full and it is in loop. Not restarting. still loop. tried DFU not working. took it to apple store. they said only factory reset is possible. called third party. they asked 1200 Euro for data recovery. but only 60 % of data recovery. took to a technician. he said no way. I tried DFU. Managed to bring the iTunes connection logo. not connected to iTunes. not showing my mobile there. tried 100 times finally shoed in iTunes started downloadin new software. stopped in between. tried another time its not working. downloaded Reiboot. started doing Firmware Updated(previously tried with reiboot not working). firmware updated. but still same probelm. tried again. this time it is completed fully. but it is in Attempting data recovery. finally it is booting up. I seen only 56 photos out of 19600 photos. but it is recovering slowly. finally i can see all data on my phone. So never give up. Just try 2 weeks again and again 1000 times. It will work. Thanks for Reiboot for firmware update. I missed my phone so much.😀
DONT SAY ITUNES EITHER BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE A OLDER MODEL APPLE MAC OR MACBOOK AND YOU CANT UPDATED TO THE LATEST SOFTWARE U CANT & ITUNES WONT LET IT BE FIX BECAUSE IT WILL SAY ITUNES NEED TO BE UPDATED TOO!!!!!! OMG HELP ME PLEASE SOMEBODY OR SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE AN THANK YOU
I tried this. It acted like it was repairing but when finished, iPhone then restarts and goes to a “press home to upgrade” button. If I press it, it tries loading the update and then gets stuck again. Anyone come across the same issue?

I want to pay for the software for the sake to save my 500 memorable photos and other content on my phone I'm worried I end up wasting my money on the tool cause they may have already been lost during the ios update attempt.

@@khatenabor7676 I believe I just did the force restart. Kept my phone plugged in and had a backup on my PC before the update started just in case.
