Been having issues with my computer that I edit videos on, so you’ll have to excuse the messed up transition in the video. Instead of that, hopefully y’all enjoy our return to the DQE!
I find it interesting that The Dequeen and eastern railroad operates as far west as the state of Oklahoma their tracks run through broken bow which has an old logging type steam engine on display next to the main highway crossing it also crosses the mountain river on an impressive bridge broken Bow Oklahoma sits near the beaver’s Bend recreational Park which is an amazing place to visit and it’s a place I would highly recommend if you like Trains beavers Ben has a CP Huntington 2 foot gauge train ride as well as the class Dequeen and eastern railroad
@@TexasRailfan21-RailfanRyan I think the name change at the state line is for tax purposes. Notice all 4 locomotives in the video are actually labeled TO&E.
I’ve actually had that on my radar, but I have no idea how operations work. Don’t want to make that drive on a day TNER doesn’t even work, know what I mean haha
I only live about an hour and a half or so from this operation and never knew until recently when I started doing research about it. I saw your last video on it and just happened to see you upload this new one today, perfect timing. Do you know if there are any trains on this route that run on certain scheduled days, or is it all as needed scheduling?
So the Dierks job runs Sunday-Thursday I believe. The job from Dierks to Perkins seems to leave Dierks around 8-9 in the morning from what I’ve been told. Not sure on its days though. As for the west job towards Oklahoma, I couldn’t tell you. I’ve heard it’s possibly a night run.

I’m heading down to dequeen this weekend with my dad to film some cpkc operations
@@Oklahomarailroadproductions Good luck! CPKC has got some Grey Ghosts leading.
Another good one, Bishop. Thanks.
Great video of the DQE Bishop! I hope to document their operations.
Great to see and learn about the small railroad companies this company I never heard of before keep them coming :)
Shortlines are one of my favorite things to cover. Especially down here where so many are hardly documented! Thanks for watching!
I really enjoy watching the trains here in this area of Arkansas
this is a really scenic part of the city for the DQE thank you.

Great information and video as usual. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Keith!
What a beautiful little railroad. Thank you for sharing.
I love your content, and your voice, it's very perfectly fits in the video all together, please keep them videos coming...
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Awesome video brother! Definitely a "video of the past" that will be treasured in the future.
Yep glad to get the chance to document this original plant scheme before the “patriotism” fully takes over the look. Appreciate it as always sir!

Awesome man!
Man your videos are just stellar! Always love seeing your perspectives. Need to go get the DQ&E myself, been quite a few years
Do it soon while they still have these original painted motors! Imagine they don’t have too much time left.
Man you should come film us on the TNER someday in Texarkana!!!
