I used your video to repair my rear stuck down window.. I peeled the covering, reset the window glass on to the bolt.. and fixed it with a nut cum washer (A nut with large washer as single component ) I also added a rubber washer in between and finally little rubber based glue to avoid it from getting loose in future. my window works perfectly.. I saved around $200.. thanks a lots

Thanks very much! A mate slammed my rear door whilst the window was down and the glass frame slipped off the gear to raise the window. Mercedes service centre in Melbourne, Australia quoted me $800AUD ($550USD) for parts and labour. Watched this beast of a video, made do with a bike tool and got the job done in a solid 45mins with window working again. Cant thank you guys enough for this helping hand, keep fighting the good fight x
+T Shodipo once the inside of the door is off you will see a foam covering glued down on the whole door. Peel a bit of it up from the bottom and you will be able to see the window pane and the mechanism. Look for the little protruding bolt on the mechanism and the bottom of the pane will have a small hole that the bolt goes into. Once it is back on, the window should go back up.
Thanks a mil. Just bought a used car and the seller didn't let me know the window was off track. i believe the rear bolt that faces the outside of the door panel is missing. Any ideas on keeping the glass firm throughout door shutting? Also my trunk latch isn't locking i believe the battery is dead. I cant lock it manually either the knob doesn't react to the key. thanks you've been very helpful
I'm by no means an expert but am just learning all this myself. where is your window stuck? is it stuck down or up? Im not sure about the trunk but in looking online for custom parts i think a lot of people have had the same issue so you might have to take it somewhere to get fixed or else google it because i stumbled across a few people teaching how to fix the trunk locking mechanism from what i can remember.
+Billsa Hey mate, I have the exact same issue as you, except that I was the one to slam the door, and heard the window inside it do an echo noise. Afterwards, the window will not come up anymore as it is off track. The repair dude quoted me 80$, but I might want to do it my self. I am just scared of screwing up big time, is it really easy to do? Can you give me more details on how you fixed it? Thanks mate! Also do I need any other tools then the ones listed in this video?
@@simonnagy1 It was quite a while ago so can't remember exactly (sold the car >5yrs ago). I suspect I would have got one from a wrecker. That would be the easiest and cheapest option.

I have a quick question, friend of mine drives a 2003 C wagon, window rolled down but wont roll back up and the motor sounds like it does work but the window may have come off track? What level of difficulty would you say it would take just to get the window to come back up temporarily? Thanks
I have a question. My Mercedes c320 has some electronics issues so the oil level readings aren't showing on the interior dash anymore. I want to check the oil manually but cant seem to locate the dipstick or any way to check the oil. Can u help?

My bracket on the front top door where the handle is to be inserted is cracked. also my rear door exterior door handle is broken as well. When I pull the handle to open the door, the handle is loose and it extends to far out when I o pen that door. My window is stuck how can I grab it and get it back on track

When you got to the handle you said something about a 25, well it's it's not a Phillips it's not a screwdriver so what is it?

the only way to check oil is from the dash, electronically.
