my Aunt and Uncle have a boat that they always took us on to go fishing. Every time, especially when we were speeding around, this would always be playing in the back of my head, rent free.
The Forest Naval always feels so interesting. Like, everything feels simultaneously right and wrong at the same time. It looks and it feels like night even though it’s day because some of the enemies are tough. The heavy mysteriousness of this song in particular DELIVERS the fact that this is an alien planet of sorts. Didn’t get it at first. But now I do. 10 out of 10
They probably didn't add it because going underground is Pikmin 2's gimmick but there's also a theory I saw some days ago about how the Valley of Repose is the upper part of the Forest Navel and the giant manhole is the entrance in the first game
@Roman-ik3cf thats an interesting theory. Personally, i was always under the impression that it was above ground but deep enough in a crevice in the forest to have little to no light reach it. After all you can see it from the map board unlike the caves in pikmin 2
I was wondering why I felt like I’ve heard this song before when I first watched chuggaconroys play through of this game as a kid until I realized that I did hear it in Nintendo land

Rumour has it: Steve the trooper is still there at night trying to lift & carry the fiery blowhog.
Anytime I see a mushroom, this plays in my head.
childhood trauma!!!!!!!!!!!!
funy mushoom
@@sub2tijabe "childhood trauma" and it's one of the easiest pikmin bosses period
I love how the ambient backline feels both calm and ominous
i wish this place returned in Pikmin 2, I always felt the subterranean areas would be crazy there

This sounds like i’m in the middle of a field of tall weeds and flowers at the edge of a forest
I’m gonna try to learn how to play this song on a guitar. The guitar sounds are awesome and it sounds like a nighttime song in a desert.
How that go? Were you able to master it? 👀

For some weird reason this theme reminds me of walking in an empty desert for days with no water
This song is to good for humanity

Such a good theme!
1.25x for challenge mode tempo.
Great song as always. Love pikmin.
The bean cave

It's crazy this First Pikmin game was made in 2001.
And yet it's still a fun game🙂
