Love Moses, super exciting to watch, but I don't like this fight, if it gets pushed I feel bad for Parker, I think he was leapfrogged by Dubois, and this is even more of a setback.
Yeah would doing Parker dirty really - after Parker’s last couple of wins Parker deserves (and the paying audience) a fight for a vacant title with someone who isn’t a ‘test to see where he’s at’ For me, a decent road to a potential Parker fight for Moses would be first seeing how he does against Wallin (always seems available/already fought in Saudi), then the Fabio v Clarke winner (a fight set for Saudi)…before Saudis think about entertaining Parker for him. An achievable route like that would produce a bit more excitement for a potential Parker fight, imo. We’re about to hit September…May seems a bit of a stretch if he doesn’t fight a name casuals resonate to this year. Hopefully for his sake they won’t try and put him against Joyce, or even Chisora… I think they both give him problems right now
Thanks for putting this into perspective. A real title seems totally unrealisitc by May 2025. Interim "world champion" like trevor bryan doesnt break Iron Mike's record ffs!
Parker is WBO mandatory who is next in line for a title shot after Usyk vs Fury 2. He has no interest in taking the risk of seeing a young, fast-rising wolf take his position. Parker took the risks against Wilder and Zhang must now secure his world chance which Joyce was unable to do. Parker must do a stay busy fight against a decent but accessible opponent like McKean or Goodall for a fight at home in Oceania or face Nelson Hysa who is classified at the WBO to strengthen his position as WBO challenger and defend his Interim belt. A career is managed this way, look where Joyce is after taking the risk of facing Zhang when he had eliminated Jennings, Takam, Dubois and Parker to become mandatory. And Itauma didn't even face a top 100, how can we give him a fight against Parker that would give him the opportunity to get a title shot? There are a lot of people in front of him. It's good to be ambitious but he has to take steps, he's only 19, he faces Dacres for the English title and he beats top 50s before he has the legitimacy for this kind of thing. adversaries.
Like I said in the last video clearly the WBO interem belt don't mean shit, Parker hasn't got a fight since Zhang and not looking like a rematch is on the cards, if he can't book a fight soon this may be the reality he will be living in and having to fight this guy, I don't know why parker can't get a decent fight now, I do think a rematch with Zhang would be good for parker, I think he got a way with that win, already fought 2 guys with KO power and got a away it with it twice, but I think a fight with this guy is just going backwards, nice video bro always good to support kiwi content 👍
