How to Change Contour Interval Setting in Civil 3D

Sir asking?
just ask how do you know that a contour should be the only interval in each project? how do you know that the contour interval should be every 5 or 10m or do you care how smooth the map is?

Contour interval depands on ground conditions or interval required by client .. coutour must show like as ground leveling. the link below video example.
