Wow that was exactly what happened to me today. Kept missing my spinnerbait and I caught one right under the chin. Makes sense that they were going after the blades and not the bait.
Every time I hear you say 'but gonna catch up or snag, put it right in the weeds or sticks' I think 'Challenge accepted!' My stuff is CONSTANTLY getting hung up in or on things, even when I'm not tossing it into cover! Do you feel these can be fished equally well on a bait casting reel instead of a spinning reel?
The specs on what was shown here doesn’t match the specs of the chatterbait rod on Cashions website. Yours show 1/2 to 1 1/2 lure weight. There’s shows 3/8 to 1.

I always fish mine on a baitcaster wouldn’t recommend a spinner setup

They might have adjusted the specs but the rod is the same!
