Mam I have one question . I belong from middle class family in bhilai . Most of the relatives are lower middle class who live in small towns . And even acquaintances of my father and mother and neighbours are middle class . Since I work in bcg in Bangalore since 4 yrs and have hefty package and I can easily spend 50-70 lakhs on wedding .
I always wanted to have destination wedding but problem my family and my relatives and other known ones have never attended and heard of destination wedding .so is it worth spending more than 50 lakhs and invite them to destination which I may plan .because I fear of they wouldn't go to that far place in different state . Mostly relatives and very close friends who are also high earning types go to destination weddings but in my case I fear that my relatives wouldn't go that far and even neighbours and friends of my parents wouldnot ho that much far for 3-5 days journey . destination weddings are popular among upper class families or high educated families or those living in big cities . But in my family only we are in upper class as my sister and me are high earning .rest of the cousins and uncle and aunts are in middle class .
So I would like to take advice from you .
You can set a benchmark in your family if you are capable of. If not you then anyone else in near future will do that.
@@SmitaSaurabhWedlock yes that's why the reason I am planning my wedding to be different from the usual ones in my family . My parents don't want to organise in other city or state as they say their friends wouldn't come to different place . I don't think more than 60-70 people would go for destination wedding including my friends . I also can't take guarantee of my uncles and aunts to take leave from their office for my destination wedding . So 60-70 may also decrease .
So going to decided destination with 50-70 is worth it or not ? Or should I choose wedding here in my current city in five star hotel where we can have more than 300 guests with same level of decoration and arrangement ?
