OMG I just got Magenta Mischief, based off still photos. I thought I would love it based on those, but this video made me love it even more. Love CND polishes. I always have good experiences with them. Now to get that Tango Passion. And Drama Queen. And Soiree Strut. For now, I'll add them to my wish list, but soon, my pretties. Soon!

I'm wearing CND Shellac Statement Earrings right now 😍 the colour is amazing. The glitter particles sparkle in very beautiful different colours and the "base shade" is a 🤔 metallic espresso ...something new from CND. The colour is very easy to apply.
What beautiful purples! I want them all. Magenta Mischief looks to me like OPI Pompeii Purple from an old (2000's) Italian collection. I never saw the Nicole version. The Sephora OPI colors had a gorgeous purple called Domestic Goddess. Love your videos.

I am a non professional enthusiast and love Cnd vinylux (75% of my polish), so it's really perfect to see them on the nails so I know what to buy next. :-) Plus I always learn something new, like: some glitter eat topcoat so use two coats. I often use thick top coats (gel-look) to glitter because a normal top coat is not showing the glitter so much. Will try with two layers and see if it's doing the magic! What top coat do you prefer to use with vinylux for a high gloss effect? I never reapply topcoat by time, should I do that? What is your tips to avoid shrinking topcoat?
Hello again :). I prefer to use a full system so I like to use Vinylux top coat with Vinylux polish. I personally don’t like to reapply the top coat. I find it shrinks sometimes. If you want you can, you can just wipe your nails with alcohol (90-99%) and then reapply
The name of that Nicole by OPI shade was Fanatical Fuchsia. Your CND Magenta is really close, but I think Fanatical Fuchsia had a touch stronger blue flash. My bottle just went gloppy... had to toss it. Hurt my heart! I might pick up a bottle of the CND. Love your videos!
@@TheSalonLife yes, yes, a tiny bit more purple! I just tossed my gloppy bottle a couple weeks ago. Painted my mother’s nails with it as a last swan song. :(
I have watched many of your videos and I have a question, hopefully you can answer. I rarely get manicures because every time I go they cut the skin around the nails and it starts a continuous splitting and peeling. Do you know what would help combat this

CND Shellac is a gel polish and it’s a pro only products. Not all the viewers here are professionals. Also it’s a matter of preference. I prefer the thin look of nail polish and I wouldn’t wear it longer than a week anyway. On toes I personally don’t recommend gel polish. Unless it’s very occasional and there is absolutely no issues with the nails. It’s all preference. Both have pros and cons. :)

I think Pompeii Purple is older. I think it's from like 1995. I was working in a salon then and I remember using it. :) God I feel old LOL

Why do you use Vinylux instead of Shellac? In my experience, the Vinylux doesn't last any longer than regular nail polish.

They have loads of videos on cnd gels too. I watch and rewatch as it helps so much when you want to choose a new colour. Love the demos.
I have a lot of videos about gel polish and some gel also. I prefer polish and then gel polish :)
I bought Divine Diamond and I don't know why I was attracted to that color. It's so yuck on my light olive skin. 🙁
