At smash the record they did tech skill horse, where they go back and forth naming the tech skill maneuver that they're going for and the other guy tries to copy it. I'm seen as one of the more technical top fox mains in super smash bros melee, so I want to see if I'm up to the challenge of matching Silentwolf, Relno, and...Mike Haze...

Just wanna point out Relno also was hitting what he said he was going to hit first try most of the time, which everyone knows is fugged up
Also he was doing this back before all the crazy controller mods, ucf etc

I remember the memes about Relno back in the day, people used to say stuff like how 20XX would be the day Relno actual learned how to play neutral lmao.
He had legit tas level movement at points because that’s all he practiced with the game, that’s what he enjoyed and so that’s what he got really good at and I respect the fuck out of him for that.
This video popped into my recommended at a pretty random time, but it’s honestly quite amazing to me that Relno as a player had the skill set he did. Earlier into the netplay era I ran into Relno exactly once. He was, well, as technical as I expected, hitting insane stuff every stock that I was just jaw on the floor at the time. However, my low tech skill sheik… ended up winning the set anyway. There was the biggest disparity possible between our tech but I was simply able to take advantage of what he wanted to do, put a hitbox there, and punish as normal. His follow ups are, ironically, very suboptimal, so I was also simply getting more per opening than him. It’s just always funny for me to look back at that set as we have basically the opposite skill sets in melee.
Relno was like a globetrotter of melee

Depends how you read it. If you're taking it as Tony Hawk being a super technical skater then yeah it flops but I interpreted it as the more public facing ambassador vs. less known (but still prominent) original innovator.

So I was in the Navy. Dependent on their rate (job), where they are stationed, and even who they work with, Relno and Ginger are probably not playing together. Nor are they playing a lot if at all honestly. They could have chosen shitty rates that take up all your day. They could be working with asshats that care about two things, how they will spend what little money they make and sex. Which translates to ultra shitty work ethic and nothing gets done. And the absolute huge possibility that they simply got stationed at different locations so they will most likely never see eachother again till after they get discharged.
Kinda long to say "yeah nah, they aren't together and not playing a lot probably" but I'm sure someone might want a little explanation.

I find it funny in the world of melee Tech skill is only an excuse for 20XX to survive nothing can replace fundamentals and neutral. Tech skill is impressive and can be applied but if you think I have tech skill which means I'm the guardian of the universe then no. Learn matchups practice practice practice and you'll get there.
20xx is alot more than just tech skill wym

@@GraViTyAboVe it's just the theory that fox is the best character in the game, it doesn't state that it's because of how u can do swaggy tech skill, it's more because of his actual neutral and punish, along with recovery and pretty much everything else about him
Tech skill is definitely important because some of these spacies these days will just run you the fuck over if you aren't fast enough
