When you collaborate temporarily with outside parties, some of them are prohibited from logging into offsite programs. Smarsheet says they require a login. Have you found a way around that?
You either have to publish the Smartsheet item (sheet / report / dashboard) or use the 'Update Request' where they receive an email and no need to log in. But otherwise,, they need to log in to Smartsheet, which provides the security that's needed to know who is accessing the item
@Prodactive Project Solutions Thanks! Smarsheet has provided us the same answers, but we do not require that level of security and we need outside parties to be able to view a specific sheet at anytime and they can pull docs they need to review and re-upload those, if they make changes and, they can ammendment the last action they took or update the timeliness we gave them. These are temporary tasks, 30-90 days. The published link, is good, if they can upload or download docs, enter notes or alter task dates, but Smarsheet, possibly incorrectly, told us those. people need a free login, not an option, or have to have a lcense, a silly thing to require. example: if I had these questions on a smartsheet, you could go on at midnight, answer me, upload a screenshot and tell me that May 4th you will provide another document. You are not part of a long term project and we want you to access without a free account, just the link. Thanks!
