Indian Army was so lucky because this army had a Marshal general (Sam manekshaw) in war of 1971.
You can't Imagine the power of Marshal general. Like Nazi Germany had lot's of Marshal in world war 2, there has one of them Marshal general (Mansteen). By his leadership Germany captured France army with in 7 days.
And in this modern era you never find hugely Marshal rank general.
