- The chant tells the story of Boigu Island cult-hero Garuge and a battle he and other Boigu warriors had with the Tugeri people of Daudai (Iryan Jaya).
The implements they carry are gabagaba (clubs) and the feathered headdresses they wear are of Samu (Cassowary).
This particular dance was performed as part of the celebrations following a day of tombstone openings on Badu Island- Queensland, Australia in December 2010.
