First off you can't snub someone who didn't try out. Tbh i don't think Caitlin needs to play in this Olympics. I don't think her legs will be under her by time the Olympics comes around. By the time the Olympics get here Clark would have played 79 games since November between college and Wnba with little to no break. Clark is a jump shooter and she needs her legs. Same thing happened to Kobe went from playing 20 something games to 80 games and he starting shooting air balls because his legs wasn't used to that many games. If Caitlin get to Paris and start shooting air balls because her legs are tired how is that good for her brand or the wnba brand?

As a-Blackman… Veteran; not that my master status should matter- who served more than 20-years the U.S. Air Force I won’t be watching Team USA Women compete for the gold medal in basketball because if we are truly talking individuals on the women’s basketball team representing US then Brittney Griner definitely shouldn’t be on team USA with her history of not standing up during the playing of our National Anthem to show respect for the US Flag which is proudly displayed during the Olympics! As for earning a spot on the women’s Olympics roster Caitlin Clark’s résumé for the WNBAs 2024 is better than Diana Taurasi’s! So the Olympics selection committee and all they WOKE women alleged sports analysts with their biased attitude toward Caitlin Clark need to stop all the excuses… The LGBTQ and these entitled black WNBA led players need to stop this nonsense and their jealousy and covert racism towards Caitlin Clark. The display of entitled and supreme behavior is a result of and way to stabilize their cognitive dissonance.
Let's compare Clark's basketball resume to Jeremy Lin's, then maybe the comparison between the two would be worthy of a second glance. A better comparison to Clark's hype would be Zion Willamson's hype at Duke. Except Zion didn't spend four years in college building a following like Clark did. Zion didn't even lead his team to the Final Four once, like Clark did twice. His numbers in college don't bear any resemblance to Clark's numbers. Yet I never saw all this hate for Zion and this overall notion that he didn't earn the hype that he received like we see happening with Clark. I can only suspect that this is because Zion looked the part and Caitlin doesn't. Because as a college player Caitlin is FAR more accomplished than Zion ever was. And I'm betting on a more healthy and productive professional basketball career for Caitlin Clark compared to Zion Williamson as well.
No, Lin-sanity was the perfect comparison. I wasn't comparing their career, I was comparing thier sudden hype explosion that suddenly was drowned out once defenses started gameplanning against them 🤔
@@Mandownsports In that case the comparison makes even _less_ sense. Because you're comparing a professional who had a breif momentous period in the NBA, to a rookie who is adjusting from college to the professional league. We don't know what Clark's story is going to be yet, because her professional career has just started. We're only 11 or 12 games in. Also, Clark spent four years in college building a legacy. So her hype is based on a litany of tangible accomplishments that were earned over time. It's not comparable to Linsanity, which came out of nowhere and caught everybody off guard.
@@Mandownsports I'll also add this. Broussard just mentioned that Clark is on pace to become only the 5th WNBA player to average at least 15, 5 & 5 in a season. Not among rookies. Among _all_ WNBA players in league history. But I know, that's just more hype, right?

Question; You are heavily favored to win Gold with or without Caitlin. Are there other missions or objectives to women’s basketball that are important to accomplish that Caitlin can facilitate?
No. There is only one mission....WIN GOLD. Purposely trying to promote one player is counterproductive to the main goal. I have to leave a reservation player off the roster and I have to give Caitlin minutes over another more deserving player plus the possibility is there that she turns the ball over just as much as she does in the WNBA. Let's compare Clark's basketball resume to Jeremy Lin's, then maybe the comparison between the two would be worthy of a second glance.
A better comparison to Clark's hype would be Zion Willamson's hype at Duke. Except Zion didn't spend four years in college building a following like
Clark did. Zion didn't even lead his team to the Final Four once, like Clark did twice. His numbers in college don't bear any resemblance to Clark's
numbers. Yet I never saw all this hate for Zion and this overall notion that he didn't earn the hype that he received like we see happening with Clark.
I can only suspect that this is because Zion looked the part and Caitlin doesn't. Because as a college player Caitlin is FAR more accomplished than
Zion ever was.
Because you're comparing a professional who had a breif momentous
period in the NBA, to a rookie who is adjusting from college to the professional league. We don't know what Clark's story is going to be yet, because
her professional career has just started. We're only 11 or 12 games in. Also, Clark spent four years in college building a legacy. So her hype is based
on a litany of tangible accomplishments that were earned over time. It's not comparable to Linsanity, which came out of nowhere and caught everybody
off guard.
@@Mandownsports I'll also add this. Broussard just mentioned that Clark is on pace to become only the 5th WNBA player to average at least

32ppg 9apg and 7rpg in her final year in college, while Bronny James averaged 5 ppg 2apg and 3rpg. Yeah, but aside from that the two situations
are remarkably similar. You just demonstrated to the world that you have NO idea what you're talking about.
NBA already a global league where top players get 100+ million contracts. WNBA has been whining about attendance and salaries for 20 years. The comparison is not the same. 1992 Dream team brought 4 players not considered Top 12 for reasons outside of just winning gold. That’s a better comparison. And they accomplished the mission
@cyber6sapien Wrong. What you did in college doesn't make you star in the pros. You have to prove yourself.
And you are missing the point. People are saying put her on the Olympic team cause of her popularity. She's not good enough. That means people need to do the same with Bronny. Put him on a bunch of teams and give him accolades for his popularity when he enters the NBA.
Hard work is still valued here
I can argue the 2 biggest snubs are arike and skylar
True
No
Why are we pushing merit all of a sudden when the league is surviving off of non-merit donations from the actual merit based league?
*Skylar diggings dont listen to Diana*😂😂😂😂 if you know you know..
Just jokes..people listening to talking tv heads. Im not even sure she should be the reserve. I mean next up.
Lol
@Mandownsports really Angel is basically averaging a double double. But people ave saying CC. Was snubbed?? I'm confused.
If she was 30 pts and her team was 2-11 I would say put her on the roster. But she not ready
Ditto
SALUTE BRO..
Hell no No Marsha Brady She’s way overrated The Pros Is killing her The worst team in the league hell no
Come on man. You're all emotional over the white chick that you're thinking irrational.
Was Victor Wembayama getting "killed by the pros".
She a rookie that didn't even have an off season. She's putting up great numbers. Her stats are better than most off the chick's on the Olympic squad....
She just finished breaking the all time college scoring record, displaying mad game....She got ti the final four twice and made the finals on a team that had no business being there....and on top if it, she doesn't self promote on social media, she's mad cool, and didn't ask for any of this......and you're over here going out of your way to make uo reasons to hate just cause she's a white chick. That sh*t is ridiculous
No
