One was trying to cross a fairly busy road and I stopped to let him/her pass. I swear that bear turned and said thank you once she was on the other side of the road. So I yelled our welcome and blew a kiss and sadly we both went on our way.

The seeds are for the birds. There are many many times that there no seeds in the bird feeder. Feeders are up high. If you was trying to feed the Bears should offer them sweets like donuts and on the porch
