Basically drive like you would on a highway with heavy traffic. If you use that awareness you'll read many situations a lot better and avoid many incidents.
I wish everybody in my lobby watch your video. It really shows how helpful when you think 2-3 steps forward and don't take unnecessary risk trying to overtake your rivals as soon as you got close to them.
This is a fantastic explanation of how to survive turn one, how to overtake, and how to defend. This really should be required viewing for any rookie-friendly league.
This is such a helpful analysis of a few split-second racecraft decisions that can be made easier by thinking a few steps ahead and placing yourself in the "best" position for the immediate situation. Appreciate your content as always, Aris. :)
Thanks for your videos Aris! Helped me a lot so far! Got SA somewhere around 96-99, but it’s a lot of work and discipline, especially when driving on public (Monza) servers. :D almost every race there is someone get pushed on the grass to the right and sliding towards first chicane upon start. Actually second chicane is much more exciting in terms of safety :D
I know that I will learn something new with each of your video Aris. That one should be embedded into the game and played automatically before every online Monza race 😄.
One addition I think would be helpful is to have available somewhere in the car set up is a graph that would show the cars engine power/torque curves based on RPM range based on the data that is used to set such on each vehicle within the game. I find that say with the GT4 Camaro that short shifting at around 6400/6500 rpm's actually helps speed and lap times in many cases rather than winding the car up to the 7000 or so red line. I guess that this is due to the characteristics of the v-8 and the torque drop off at the highest rpm range. I think as drivers this information would be valuable to understand how to best possibly utilize the power outputs of different vehicles rather than just blind testing to figure out what seems to work best.
@ Aris.Drives I do exactly the same as you at Monza for first corner - it's like guys, a foreword, I'm braking at this point. You can't always win a race at first corner but you can 100% lose it.
I personnaly can use the radar very good to my advantage it’s very useful but still I need triple monitors to properly see my left and right side mirrors and also left and right windows so I have a proper view what’s happening next to me.
That's not correct. If you go straight but go slow and don't gain time the game understands and doesn't give you penalty. This also happens in all track limit situations. Raise your foot, brake if necessary and if the game understands that you don't gain time, you will not get a penalty. Obviously if you storm straight and crash through the billboards and gain like 10 places, yes of course you will get penalty.
@@ArisDrives it is a very fine limit. Just tried it. Some times as you explained it doesn't give and some times it does no matter how much I slowed down. 1 time I even stopped to let everyone through after I got back on track since I had to go on and off the throttle to keep control. Still got hit with a stop&Go. :) Well we have to leave with it. In real life, 99% you are only called to the stewards only to announce the penalty and not ask for your opinion as a driver. Thanks for the tips and the amazing detailed videos made for the ACC community. #tapagazi
Hi Aris i'm confused with the rctl comms, is there a way to only get comms rctl (penalties or info) only related to me? If other driver gets a dt or stop and go i rather not see a pop up message, please could you help
First problem I already see is people braking on the straight line right after the start, not only is it bunching people up, it causes crashes, you're supposed to lift and coast.
Mah.

I really love how you pay tribute to your opponents and how you appreciate their skills.
"Everyone got through T1 safely"
Lol just after you left T1, someone else reaked havoc there 😂😂😂
Who in the world would dislike such an informative video, this is super good.
Thank you very much!

Discovering Aris recently, I have not been enlighted so much like he did with his explanation, so effortless and insightful. You got a new fan here
Aris, you are the stig of explaining.

This is great...I can speak for myself. I need more of this racing strategies.

Hi, Really good stuff here !!
Can we see the whole race somewhere ?!
Thx Aris
Grazie Aris alla fine hai fatto vedere come si usa la 488 👏

That was lucky but more clever
@Aris But if you go wide or straight, even if it is to avoid a collision, the game doesn't recognize why you did and immediately you get a penalty :'(

How did he get his camera to shake like that
hi aris, please can you enable helycam and freecam in vr?!? that would really help
Even better if they actually put DLSS 2.1 in the game, so that we could finally play at high resolutions in VR with ACC.

I have a better approach: start from back, skip T1 chicane slowly and rejoin in 9th position. You won't get penalty. 100% safe.

i benefici di questi concetti li vedi su gare lunghe ed equilibrate
