I flew Air India Express on their 737-800 in September 2018 Cochin-Dubai. I really hated the experience but I was like 7 yrs old then so I can’t really remember anything else about it. 😊 I flew the New Air India Express 737 Max 8 on a flight from Hyderabad to Cochin in January 2024. But landing was soooooooo hard 😢.
Been flying with air India express since childhood every year from DOH-IXE and back to DOH mostly in rainy season had few bad experiences but most of the time it's good ngl can't complain much Abt the lost cost carrier only got to travel in their 737-800 not yet travelled in their new max8 the new boarding pass is cool but the pictures on the 737-800 is the best compared to the new ones which have those designs in their tales and is hard to differentiate coz all designs in the new ones look kinda same
I think it’s going to be quite a mixture of a cabin product with AIX. They have the old AirAsia cabin on their A320s, the MAX’s have cabins of Chinese carriers, the NGs have the original AIX cabin & I assume the 20 A320s coming in from Air India would be converted from two class to a single class. Overall pretty diverse cabin. Probably would take a few years to standardise it across the fleet.

Oh my god is it Air india express that you have told to guess in Instagram story...... Very bad experience i have flown their international route from Chennai to Singapore..i think in table top runway it's Captain landing and takeoff correct me if i am wrong.. Awesome trip report
Actually this isn’t a commercial flight. It’s usually a test flight used for various operations. The Boeing 787-9 majority of the times operates a commercial route from Mumbai or Delhi to Bengaluru and then this unofficial flight to and from Chennai.
