Thank you so much for this ❤️ Love these clips and love that you're doing this. I'd love if you could post the other full interviews done until now. Would really appreciate it ❤️
amazing content nicolas!! thanks a lot for sharing all the knowledge, please keep up with this incredible project! but in this video, forest should be lower in the bpm axis right? the middle of the axis should be 180 bpm, no?
the axis is the same for any style, and the range from forest that we describe here is from 148 to 160 as a maximum, but we also deal with the problem of boundaries and limits for each style or the lack of them
So Ormion has written out the albums that he said influenced the Forest Sound. BOTFB-Twin Sharkfins V/A - Tales From The Forest V/A - Psychoactive Psychosounds V/A - Schlabbaduerst 001 V/A - Tales From the Dark Forest (would be as well) Is this the chronology of how Forest came to be? Is there anything missing or that you would not agree with? www.psynews.org/forums/topic/70402-the-psychedelic-trance-in-its-entirety/page/5/?tab=comments#comment-1054188
Love the analysis. My 2 cents on psytrance is that it feels like it started from one entity and then split into dark and light side then spread thru the years and now we are at the point at least for forest i think it will split into more micro level at least for the label like i dont know, smurf psytrance ,pixie psytrance ,goblin psytrance ,foresty creatures etc like you said some tracks feel more swampy than foresty :D
well they are definitely not forest trance. discovalley was mentioned in the greek analysis along with all the darkpsy pioneers from Greece. deja vu would need to be included in one about russia
Important work my friend !
man I know it's been long since the last Alienpedia but the Hypercube was so genius
Thank you so much for this ❤️

@@MOTMPSY Maybe you misunderstood his observation. If you mark in the middle of a range of 150 to 210 then that's 180, not 160. Great video anyway.
Hahaha well there is no scale anywhere 🤣
Thanks for that

What about Dejavu Records, Discovalley Records , and many other labels that had an huge impact in the global scene ?
well they are definitely not forest trance. discovalley was mentioned in the greek analysis along with all the darkpsy pioneers from Greece. deja vu would need to be included in one about russia
