I love your content bro, another correction would be where you said " on the bottom of us" In atmos all the sounds are from ear level and above. I have a 7.1.4 setup and there are no physical speakers below ear level. 🥶
Bolo I swear you are the most positive and comprehensive content creator. You feel like a regular dude just more accomplished thank you sooo much studio one has always been my daw of choice
Thanks @bolodaproducer for the update... I recently upgraded to Nuendo 12 for Atmos and I want to say to your viewers that there are somethings you have to keep in mind when delivering your songs in Dolby Atmos. 1. your song cannot exceed -18 LUFS Intergrated and -1 true peak. 2. Mono is king in Dolby Atmos, not saying that you can't use stereo, but when it comes to panning using an object mode it is better.
Thank you Bolo! I downloaded the Studio One update yesterday and tried to make heads or tails out of the Dolby ATMOS and it didn't make any sense until I watched your video. New subscriber to you. Thanks again!
I been using studio one for a longgggg time and have using soul asylum studios with dolby atom usig protools im glad studio one has this that way i can go back to using studio one as my main daw again
Thanks for the video! Quick fyi, you mentioned Atmos can hit us from above and below. Above yes, but Dolby Atmos isn’t available from underneath us yet.
What up Bolo . How you been. I have some info that might help others out there trying to figure out why their reason lite ver . 11 now has less devices and instruments. reason lite ver. 11 thru 11.2 had almost all of the devices and instruments, but did not include the external vst daw support. starting from ver 11.3 lite , they removed more than half of all the good devices like Thor , nxt , Europa , and Kong , but they then added external daw vst support. Thought this info might help anyone confused about it . Also , for anyone who wants the original full device and instruments version , 11.2 lite , just open a reason support ticket and ask them , They will give you the DL link . Just remember , full daw in ver 11.2 lite , minus external vst , only 8 tracks . 11.3 lite , minimal stripped down daw , with less devices and instruments, but has external vst support , still 8 track limit . Hope this helps someone .
Hey Bolo, drop some links for the official earbuds or headphones we can use with Dolby Atmos. This just made my day bruh. We needed surround sound as a feature 3 years ago.
@@aishine8184 Ya I like sample ones functionality that why I make beats in maschine it basically a comb of how sample one and impact work all together but maschine is limited in other ways
Wait, don’t logic Pro already have that already same plug-in Dobie Atmos I thought it was another logic pro update I was going to get excited lol😌 I don’t know when the next logic pro update is going to be happening but I hope it happens soon🤷♂️😌
@bolo Oh no, this one is quiet dangerouse Bro because Dolby Atmos is much more complex to mix as the way you have show´n it on your Video. 128 Channels / Positions that are available to mix on a virtual space and you will not use this 2D scheme to mix it but a 3D virtual room (shown on Video) that is also using programable automations. I just want to avoid that some people thinking that they can just quickly create a DB mix just like that because you´re not, beside the fact that you actually need a Dolby license application form to mix dolby Atmos Music. This is a very comprehensive topic, too complicated to rush it and very very expensive if you go for an 7.2.4. or 7.1.4 Speaker Setup and Modul . Forget about Dolby Atmos-Headphone - Mixing cause it´s not good enough. I am just saying and supporting..not haiting! Just check some deeper facts yourself. Love your Content Bolo, thx a lot! Peace out Bro
Sadly there is going to be a mountain of secondhand monitors on eBay in a few years time when everyone wakes up and realises that Atmos was a futile industry led bandwagon.
🚨Correction: You Can hear the Atmos and Surround Mix using Stereo headphones by clicking "Binaural" Output while in Dolby Atmos Renderer
It will bounce that way as well. I believe they may have nailed. Too soon to say for sure

I like the update and I’m glad you mentioned chopping up samples that’s really my only beef 🥩 with Studio One that what Impact is lacking !!!
Huh would you mind further explaining I'm a bit confused 🤔
@@aishine8184 What I’m referring too to have impact work more like the maschine or a Mpc or have it be as flexible as Cubase’s drum vst.

APPLE AIR PODS PRO & Air Pod Max

Normal head phones will work. You just need to choose the binaural option. 🎉🎉🎉
Just pinned it thanks!!!

Atmos is rubbish for music it just ruins it.
