This film made me cry. In the 1980’s, I was a VP for a small record company and our office was in 250 w 57 st. I went home at that subway stop every night. I met (young newcomer) Madonna one night on that same block. The TJMaxx on the corner now was a pottery barn back then - and there was a coin phone booth from NYNEX on the corner. The McDonalds is still there, but all the other stores are new (in relation). I thank you for the bittersweet trip down memory lane. 🙌🏼🙌🏼❤️

What I really love is just how the setting is captured. Here you just see city life and city lights. People talking, gossiping, just doin whatever. Everywhere you go there's an ample amount of different perspectives all clashing together and producing harmony of the city, city ambience the only needed instrument. It shows many people in all walks of life, all in a place just doing whatever. The buildings properly encapsulates this modern splendor. I enjoy it all, and would like to enjoy it as if time stood still, as if people came through here in there nightly routines for eternity. I just love to see people being people.
I love the way how all kinds of people I saw in the video are living with peace, love and no hatred towards each other. Incredible!

I heard that NYC has good pizza and museums! I am going this July for the weekend. I’m so excited, this will be my first time being on an airplane and in a new place! Update Aug 5, 2023: I’m back home and I miss NYC ❤️ had a lot of fun.

I’m always intrigued when people say they haven’t been to New York! I grew up in Connecticut and was fortunate enough to be able to easily move to New York because I was already so close. I definitely take it for granted sometimes.
Such a beautiful city at night, I adore places like this where the city is lively. I hope one day when I'm rich enough, I'll move here into my own apartment overlooking the city and I'll enjoy Christmas there.

I was finally able to see NYC for myself back in March, and loved every second of it. My family prefers the quietness of the beach, but honestly, if I wanted to laze about, I'd take a week off of work and stay home. The vibrancy and life there is hard to match, from my arrival at Moynihan to Times Square to Hudson Yards to the little hole-in-the-wall bar I visited before heading off with family who lived in the area. It's an experience I hope I never forget.

@@mariangelesadet6807 Cool and generally rainy, for the most part. When I was there, I lucked out and the skies cleared just in time for my train to pull in. As such, a jacket is good, though you don't need a heavy one given the urban heat island effect.

I don't speak as a native of the city but New York is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating, dynamic, energetic cities in the world. You really have to be unimaginative to get bored in New York. There are museums, art galleries, cultural institutions, festivals, fairs, music concerts, theater plays, dance performances, literary events, lectures, academic conferences, restaurants, bars, clubs, sports games, gyms, green areas, religious services, yoga and meditation studios and so on. Events and activities all year round. It is certainly a hectic, chaotic, stressful city but I reiterate my point that it is decidedly not boring, it is in a league of its own along with London and Paris in terms of combining professional, educational, cultural and gastronomic options, of a sophisticated, international, cosmopolitan nature
I just hope that everybody has a wonderful life and I don't wish them anything more than positivity and acceptance and the possibility of finding a soulmate and their life in which they have been given

It is a living testament to human genius that you can live in and experience. If you have never been there, there is nothing like it when it come to magnitude of human made environments.

As someone who lives in NYC is love watching these walking videos and just seeing the everyday life that's going on, but at the same time if I were to ever go into Manhattan I would absolutely hate it simply because it's crowded, dirty and constantly noisy.
Same here. I’ve been to Manhattan and it’s so loud and busy and I have sensory overload issues so I like admiring it from a far. I live in Pennsylvania, so it’s not that far to get to New York but like I said, I would rather admire it from a far.
