- We just have one more episode before Amazon’s Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power Season 2 ends, and there is a lot to unpack from this episode that just dropped. Hello there, everyone! We are back for yet another round of theories and predictions for the upcoming season finale of Rings of Power season 2. It’s time to pull out our palantir for one last time this year as we try to scry into the future. As predicted, Elrond arrives at Khazadum to seek the dwarves’ help while Disa and Prince Durin rally their people against their father’s madness and enlist them to help Eregion. We also foresaw that despite Durin’s rousing speech, the dwarves would ultimately not turn up to help the Elves during the siege.

Umm Elrond Kissed Galadriel to distract everyone while he passed her the pin from his cloak that she used to unlock her handcuffs. It wasn’t a romantic kiss. How is this not obvious to you?

As I said elsewhere, there was no tongue involvement. lol it was just a simple kiss on the lips…but prolonged. For crying out loud, they’ve been friends for hundreds of years and she’s about to die in theory, so even w/o the lock picker device, it wouldn’t bug me.
Lastly, Elrond marrying Celebrian makes it obvious he’d be atttacyed to her mother as well, in terms of objectively viewing her as beautiful (plus, who doesn’t ?!?!), so, if it had been romantic, which it wasn’t, it woulda been easy to understand given the circumstances
Exactly. People don't seem to understand. A kiss doesn't necessarily have to be romantic in nature. The kiss that elrond gave to galadriel was a expression of eternal love for a true friend. One that he has known for centuries and realizes that its possible that neither he or she will ever see each other alive again outside of this moment. Galadriel was well aware of this. It conveyed a message of not only love in its truest form but also that of a potential farewell. So bloody simple.
I know it was just a diversion. They're not gonna get it on.
The kiss wasn’t a romantic thing. He did it as a distraction so he could give her the piece of metal so she could escape.
Been really enjoying this show. Looking forwards to the finale and another season. But seriously, where are the action figures ?

They’re always different. I’ve checked out books after seeing an adaptation many times. Hunger Games, Harry Potter, House of the Dragon to name a few….
The adaptation is always different.

Listen. They do NOT have the rights to the Silmarillion!! Or literally anything that isn’t the appendices and the movies. THEY DONT HAVE THE RIGHTS TO MUCH OF THE LORE. I NEED y’all to understand that, so obviously it’s going to be different. So y’all can stop whining about it not being “true” to the source material. Cause if they don’t have the rights and you know damn well that the Tolkien estate is very protective over tolkiens work, then you wouldn’t be complaining constantly about it not being “faithful.” And the movies? That y’all claim is better? Didn’t follow the source material either, cut out MULTIPLE important characters and lore. But I don’t see y’all whining about that. In any case. Go into season 3 with this understanding: it’s going to be different because they don’t have the rights. Repeat it several times so y’all can get that.

If anything blame the Tolkien estate for money hunger. If they had AS MUCH PASSION as some of these people do for tolkiens work, they would NEVER sell parts of his work like this that ensures lore issues because of rights issues

sauron has more than one downfall lol. The next episode, if they're sticking anywhere close to the simarillion will be annatar dying or being captured by pharazon and numenor (Though I think they're ditching the sauron returning to numenor for now and they're gonnna work that in later) and probably the next season will be him in his new body as a minor king as he searches for the rings with the last episode of that season being the first of the 9 getting a ring. At least, if I'm writing for the show, this is how I'm doing it. Adar will definitely die in this next episode, and the orcs will go through a whole "leaderless" story line before ultimately I think they'll willingly give themselves over to sauron once he has distributed the 9. Then season 5, the last season will be the story of him crafting the one ring and putting it on, sparking the last alliance of men and elves, which I think the show will end right before the narration point that Galadriel starts at in fellowship.
@@iDose514 There's just not enough story to drag it out that long and we should all be grateful for that. Good things should have an end. Otherwise they're not good things anymore. Too many shows try to just drag on season after season and people don't watch because they're pulled in, they do it because they feel like they have to or they'll miss out on a ton of things.
I wish that my annoying friends and relatives have to watch all seasons at my funeral, because I love the show so much 😊

I don't think the 9 with Galadriel are fake, I think Galadriel will swap them with Sauron for Ninya and the life of Elrond
I liked episode 7 so I showed it to my girlfriend whos a casual fan of lotr and when she saw erindil ( I know i misspelled that) she said hey it's cool to see a black elf. I know that has nothing to do with the video but I just wanted to throw that out there. And she liked the episode too.
Its Arondir, Elendil is in a Numenorian prison.
I think I also saw an Asian sharpshooter elf in there.
And that made me happy.

After each episode, i would ask myself, how was that 40 minutes??? Basically nothing happened. They intentionally make the pacing super slow, like butter spread too thin on bread.

I agree, especially with the show constantly trying to make a love connection for galadrial, if they did they need to make an episode where her husband beats the s*** out of elrond and sauron, he is so powerful that on a good day he could beat sauron alone.

with such a budget they could have made at least one decent battle scene..at least a mini version of the battle of Helm's Deep
I don't understand this comment. I thought that was one of, if not the best tv series battles scenes. Compare it to the Game of Thornes battle an night where you could literally see nothing. I honestly thought this was cinematic quality. I do not understad people's expectations if they did not enjoy this episode. Highly enteratined.
