Out of the Dozen videos of seen showing this truck off, this has been the best technique driving out of the rest. Really shows how this performs in a controlled fashion on some decent obstacles.
Definetly agree his last video completely changed my mind on this rig. All others I had watched previous just made it look overly top heavy and weak. Always learn a lot about wheel placement etc when watching this channel 💪👊🏼💯
Please do a skit with Matt’s Off-road Recovery. Let him in on the fun but keep his crew in the dark. It would be so fun to share the love of this beast with their team. Plus they would get so many laughs, which the team always needs since they work so hard. If it goes well, they may get some and you can start a mini jeep club! Just something to think about.
The scx6 is an amazing rig I'm going to get mine this Friday . I have Done all the research and I'm a big fan of the big RC trucks and this is going to work good beside my X MAXX
I think you should do some tutorial videos on RC crawling. You’re obviously very knowledgeable on the mechanics. And videos explaining that would be awesome!
I think because his 1:1 experience in crawling, this gives him a bigger benefit in picking up the right lines too. I find that with this SCX6 he talks and drives more like he is in an 1:1 situation.
Thanks guys, honestly I wouldn’t know where to start for a tutorial series. I kind of sprinkle it in each video talking about tire placement and unloading suspension to help a specific tire climb. I do have some experience in the full size but mostly with 4 wheel steer competition buggies so a Capra is really where I know what to do. Thanks for watching, I’ll think about a tutorial.
By far the best video to date that I’ve watched with the type of terrain you put the SCX6 through it’s paces of Moab like style of crawling. Thanks for taking the time to review and make this video. I think this Jeep body is just fine, it would have helped to have those stock Rubicon behemoth fenders replaced with narrow Knights custom ones!
this is awesome! not my favorite RC but im very impressed with it! Im in LOVE with where to have to wheel at. This is like RC heaven. awesome videos. subbed
@@westdesertwheeler I'm betting over time the foams will break down and weighing 25lbs it could probably use a little sidewall support. Also if someone comes out with some aluminum beadlock wheels that would be great too. I know vitavon is in the process of making parts for this rig. I can't wait for mine to arrive. Love that you actually have a great testing area for crawlers. Awesome vids! Keep em coming!
Oh yeah the mountains surrounding this place are beautiful with tons of different color rock all mixed together. It’s all awesome! But really fun to drive on too haha!
Awesome Jeep! You drive that like a boss! It’s interesting how the crawling technique differs from our terrain and crawling in the east (Pennsylvania). Love the video man!
I live in New York, we don’t have places like you have over there… I do take a trip to utah once every summer for family stuff, but I’ve never crawled at sand hallow or anything like that.
I bought one, but dang if many of us aren’t tired of these new jeeps. Since they have the licensing I feel they would’ve had a better reception with a scrambler or much older model. I’ll replace the body if aftermarket companies make em. Thanks for the vid.
I have the trx4 all stock.I have been scaling it as a overlander. I will be posting a video in a day or two. take a look at the video and let me know in the comment of your impressions!
Very nice trail!!! Awesome technique as always 👍1/6 look very realistic when crawling. It performs well too. How thick is the lexan compare to scx10.3?it doesn't look top heavy, nice 😁👍
I’m sure the body is a bit thicker but with the much larger links, and axle components the body is very light and the center of gravity is nice and low
I seen it handled more on different channel..way way fast and strong as a.bull u can sit on it don't recommend it.but that's wen it caught my eyes pulled a whole.car
@@aaroncarr5725 Pretty much all brushless dc motors have no volt rating within limits. As long as you keep the amps below maximum, the motor will be fine. This might mean regearing on a car. I run 6s through "4s" motors all the time. I just don't put (much) more amps through them than the manufacturers rating.
GOOD MORNING LOGON FROM ENGLAND SIR. HOPE YOU ARE OK BUDDY. I DO LOVE THIS TRUCK. HONESTY TO BIG FOR ME. IM VERY HAPPY WITH MY 10 SCALE SIR(MAYBE ONE DAY) . SIR IVE A QUICK QUESTION PLEASE COULD U HELP. IM BUILDING THE ELEMENT BUILDERS KIT V2 AND IM GOING TO BE USING A HOBBYWING AXE IM WONDERING WHAT SIZE KV SIR? THANKS LOGON. KEEP THE RUBBER SIDE DOWN ✌️🇬🇧🇺🇸🕊️👍
Mike, I’m doing well man I hope you are too. For the element kit 1800 - 2200 KV should work great crawling but also have some good speed with 3S especially with a non portal truck. I’d suggest something in that range. Hope that helps!

Totally agree !
I agree also!! He has such a perfect crawling spot!
Seth enters the chat, Seth leaves the chat
Someone else also pulled a newer Ford Explorer with it right out of the box while sitting on it

Yes!!!
Paid for mine last Monday, can't pick it up until next Friday. You guys who got them early are lucky dogs!!!
I was fortunate to test this one, I still need to get my own.
That is easily the most epic crawling place I've ever seen. Amazing truck too!
You got great terrain to play in, awesome showcase.
Thanks! I try to use what I have available
Every one of these videos catches my interest. Keep making them please. Get it stuck and call MORR
Best commercial for this truck, great crawl and drive with fantastic terrain! Pay attention Axial, this video will sell the SCX6!
YAY!!! Another SCX6 Video! Genuinely excited to receive mine soon
You should be, it’s a fun truck!

Wow....thats an awesome performance of this truck and these stock tires are doing surprisingly well bud !!!
Your driving skills are great but your camera work is impeccable! Man, good work, I felt like I was watching a real Jeep at Moab.👌🏼
Much appreciated!

The best video of these in action! I'm in love with it!
Thanks! It’s a really fun truck
Getting mine the 29th can't wait !!!!
Awesome! This thing is fantastic and you have the coolest place to show off its ability! Its level of scale is epic, nice job!
Logan, thanks for the SCX6 videos. Great scenery and really showcased the truck capabilities and limitations.
Dude that thing is a BEAST. . Great crawling. Great content
Excellent demonstration.
Awesome crawling with the SCX6. As always love the commentary, as your great knowledge about how to drive a 4x4 always shines through.
That is an awesome little canyon for the scx6. I would love to get my custom build done.
I thought so! Thanks for watching
That last climb!! Can't wait to have one.
Such a perfect place for rc crawling!!
Looking great! Got a silver one on pre-order :)
Nice! I think I would go silver if I buy one.
I like the green personally

That was it's hard-core obstacle, valiant effort on trying. I was impressed
I tried one other that was very similar with a similar result so I cut it. But it tries, it just didn’t fit haha
@@westdesertwheeler Just didn't fit lol that's what she said🤣🤣🤣 have a good day
Now I would love to see them come out with a 1/5 scale Capra!
🤯 how did I not think about this. That would be wild
Got this exact truck today on Christmas, I have yet to set up a outdoor corse but boy. Ain’t this amazing

Keep 'em coming with this nex SCX-6. I'll NEVER own one ($$$$) so I'll be living through you! 00
Such an awesome location! Sweet videos
Those ledges look like so much fun!
Brilliant video ! That scx6 is awesome ! Looking forward to the next video
Awesome spot
Nice work bud. If I didn't loath jeeps I would yeet them bengies so hard... come on aftermarket/competition! Fill the fifth scale void!
Totally understand, it is only an RC car. Maybe slap a FJ grill on it or landcruiser grill
Love the rig and have greatly enjoyed watching your channel grow, keep pumping out the quality!
Thanks so much! No plans on stopping 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Hi Logan! You are a realy an expert! You know, how to drive a crawler. An important thing for a test/ to say "That's good or not good"... 😉
I'm looking at the geology, the layering WOW :) Oh yeah, great driving too :)

Looks great!
Heck yeah enjoyed it a lot, that was outstanding appreciate you sharing, I’ll be following for more happy trailing
Hell of a drive my man! That thing is pretty sure footed for just being straight out of the box👍
Solid video. Thanks for sharing
Anyone can see this will be a great trail ruck but your showing it is also a capable crawler also. This is very impressive
Rock crawling is what I do! 🤘🏼
You going to run the proline treps on this thing?! Great video!
Can't say it enough. Great vids.

That is amazing, wish they were only $1,100 here instead of $1,700
I’d love to see another bronco scx10 vid
just imagine this with some other body options, its like a big bang of this year
Very nice trail!!! Awesome technique as always 👍1/6 look very realistic when crawling. It performs well too. How thick is the lexan compare to scx10.3?it doesn't look top heavy, nice 😁👍

Are those axial tires? They look like they grip so much better than their nittos
Can not day.ot enough. Great vids love it.
What area of sand hollow is this I wanna try running it
Scx10iii owner starting a you tube channel this thing makes me jellous what a beauty
Scx3 are great trucks! The 6 is very fun and cool but nothing wrong with what you got
Ur awSome man. Keep doing this stuff it’s sick.
Thanks!
Need longer videos nobody has the terrain you do
I appreciate that. It’s a balance, I don’t want to go too long and have it get annoying or boring
15 to 20 mins is a great length video for rc crawling. I'd like a little longer videos as well, please.
So jealous of the location 🤤
I have a lot of fun out here
@@westdesertwheeler how far of a drive is this spot from where you live? It’s like crawler heaven 🤌🏼
I have 1.9 cnc custom wheels and was wondering if those will fit on the axial scx6 ?
Very unlikely. This truck is much too large.
Very nice !
Very nice run!
Really nice place to crawl. Maybe one day i can afford one.
Need it to handle 4s
I seen it handled more on different channel..way way fast and strong as a.bull u can sit on it don't recommend it.but that's wen it caught my eyes pulled a whole.car
I hope proline makes a hyrax g8 tire for this rig
Excellent
It's crazy almost everyone in my FB rc group that has one says it's trash and are looking to sell them... and I still want one...lolololol
No way man these are really fun
Niceeeeeeee
Is running a 4s going to be more hard on the motor if I’m crawling or trailing, because I’ve got a 6700 that can run for days.
The motor is only rated for 3S. You will burn it up in the first run or two.

You can actually put three batteries in it there’s a spot across the back
Nice bro
The camera doesn’t do the axial scx6 justice, looks like a 1/8 scale.
I was on the rocks today with my 6 and went to fart but actually sharted

i want proline or some good tire company to make milestar Patagonia's for it. pray rc4wd wont make them since you know its rc4wd.
At 6:00 minutes, maybe if the tires were clean of mud 🤔
Yeah but with wet sand it’s really hard to get them cleaned off. Real or RC
Wow
Why did I watch this video? Dang it, now I want one
they should make this with portal axles , that's the less that you can get for $1000 dollars
I think they really went for a scale jeep. I personally like that they are straight axles. The truck has plenty of clearance as is
There are so many places this truck can not go to fit the terrain. Cool truck thou.
It's cool ~~^^
Is that. At Utv takeover
😉👍💯
Why do you call it a 5th scale when it’s actually a 6th
Close enough
I hope traxxas comes out with a 1/6th scale crawler
If they did what would you like to see from them? Would you want portals and open diffs? A licensed or unlicensed truck?
Straight axles, open diffs and licensed body.....love to see it!! I'm sure it would cost more but I'd be willing to pay.
@@scotttrowbridge4625 Why do you want to pay for licensing fees for a body? They could make a realistic body without the badging, saving you money.
What state is this in?....I have never seen rocks like that before.
