Back when his first NPR tiny desk concert as DRAM was uploaded, I remember showing it to my dad and he loved it, and that got us started watching new tiny desk concerts together. It was a really nice way for us to bond. In 2019 he was diagnosed with cancer and he passed away in March of 2020. It's bittersweet but I'm really happy to see him releasing new stuff :)

I first discovered Shelley by his first NPR concert and have been religiously following him ever since. I’m so happy he’s embraced his name and so happy to see his evolution over the years. So excited to see this and for his new album.
I actually appreciated this man as a vocalist and artist because of his first NPR and became a big fan there after. I’m glad he grew into the artist he is now and dropped that “I think you’re cute” era.
