@@TheVeryLastOne it's kind of ironic because at the times weren't gorillas view as these giant apes that pound their chest and are angry all the time and shown their fangs the 1933 king Kong came out 8 or 9 years prior to this film yet the shown this one as smart enough to put the bar back in place Disney was way ahead of its time
being that there was this superman cartoon that came a year after this film came out that portray gorillas as this giant violent super strong monster and is supposed to be a refence to king Kong that gorilla shown was oversized and was view as the villain which is unfair it's just an animal that shows as bad from the time and it's in a circus and those places are bad for animals this scene with the gorilla being smart and not a violent brute by putting the bar back in place after if got loose shows king Kong wasn't a good example of gorillas and this was before researchers when to Africa to study them.
That's what's so great about hand-drawn animation, it doesn't age nearly as poorly as cgi. Because the latter is so dependant on computer graphics, a technological field that is constantly evolving and changing, it never holds up nearly as well.
My favorite funny moment in this parade is when the camel is chewing like all the others but looks like and is probably thinking "wait can i swallow this in my mouth? Well I hope nobody's looking when I do" *swallows*
0:22 - I recall being "picked" to play cymbals once in elementary school in music class (this wasn't a band class mind you). After crashing them once, I never want to do it again. My music teacher only allowed me to play drum instruments in music class anyway typically (such as the snare drum or tambourine). Also I prefer this over Pinocchio and Fantasia.
It was very fortunate for dumbo that A nearest human bystander was watching the parade saw dumbo lost & fallen in a puddle of mud and @ once called for the ringmaster and ms jumbo as loudly as he or she could over the circus music.
I can definitely see where the later Disney animators likely drew their influence from for the “Prince Ali” song in “Aladdin” fifty years later. There’s a lot of similar framing and background work.

At 0:46 - I wonder Disney they made the sound of the Calliope (steam organ). It doesn't sound like a steam Calliope, but rather like some electronic instrument?
