I feel the best value for money is the number 3 outlet cos of the salted egg pasta with fish fillets. I am someone who prefers creamy sauce pastas so salted egg is kinda up my alley.
Food that is too salty is not good food! It is very difficult to get the right amount of salt into the food. Student cooks are often encouraged to taste the food with every increasing amounts of salt, to the point that the food is too salty. They have to find the point where the food is properly salted and not bland, and not yet too salty. Difficult! Especially because every person has his/her own like of saltiness.
Number 3 have been around since 2020 and I remember the food is nice but the staff is horrible. Quite surprised it's still open cos the menu also quite overpriced back then.
To be considered a budget neighbourhood gem, it has to be within shophouses and also hawker centres plus also price wise, it has to be cheap and portion wise quite good. Being inside a shopping mall doesn't consider yourself a neighbourhood gem and the last time I checked, the prices are kinda not worth it.
i used to like your aglio olio but prices keep increasing so i stopped buying alr. plus locations now all so far away since jcube closed. wish u guys cld keep things more affordable and in neighbourhood areas
What’s your favourite type of pasta? 🍝
