Thanks for listening and sharing your comments! The I Love A Mystery Shows are fun. I especially enjoy the ones with Mercedes McCambridge. She's also in the ILAM adventure "Temple of Vampires" which is also on Chesterton Radio. (She was also the voice of the demon in the film "The Exorcist") Carlton E. Morse also wrote the popular "One Man's Family" - a very different kind of show which ran for decades. This 15th anniversary show is particularly well done as the characters discuss the changes in the world over the years they've been on the air - as well as threats to the family. Very relevant to today.... ua-cam.com/video/VuyXwV-q_9o/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for these. Carlton Morse authored great stories; incredibly creative and timeless….and a shout out to the actors in this series, outstanding!👌
I liked this one a lot, although it started slow and took longer to get through. I had to listen in several sessions while doing chores, etc. Don’t judge this one by its first 15 minutes. Good plot, even if a bit improbable. Good acting, clear recording. I have been a fan of Mercedes McCambridge in movies. Nice to hear her in this radio drama.
Thanks for listening! We have a number of radio shows featuring Mercedes McCambridge in our Playlist here. Orson Welles had called her "the greatest radio actress" for her work in the 1940's ua-cam.com/video/6xsibaEm724/v-deo.html

@@ChestertonRadio Thanks very much for the playlist!
Mercedes is in a few Thin Man episodes too..
One of the best ways to exercise the brain .
~ 5:15 - what did he say ? , "Of all the two tailed 'shitty' ? cats ?" - I just listened 3 times , can't work it out .
It was probably "sissy cats".
@@quicksilvertongue3248 ~ that's preferable eh*
I wonder is she were ugly if they would have still helped her 🤔 😆
