Pledge Day is back and all in support for the Calgary Children’s Foundation, supported by 770 CHQR and The Westin Calgary.
Pledge Day is a 13 hour live radio broadcast and will take place Friday, December 6 in the lobby of Corus Centre, 770 CHQR's home grounds. 770 CHQR will broadcast from 5:30am - 6:30pm, asking listeners to phone-in or go on-line and make donations that will benefit kids in-need throughout the Calgary area. We focus on small, grassroots charities who are not able to hold massive fund-raisers or manage sophisticated communications. Pledges of financial support are called in by News Talk 770 listeners, individuals, retailers and corporations for the Calgary Children's Foundation. Those who have raised funds for the Calgary Children's Foundation throughout the months prior to Pledge Day are welcome to present their cheques on-air. We also invite local celebrities and sports personalities to be a part of the radio program.
