I like 2 the most but every time I lose all my lives and the gold coins I collected fly away to their original places, I get angry.

I’ve never played either of the Mario Land games, and I don’t remember when I first heard of them. They’re probably some of the most elusive Mario games to me. I only know them both for introducing Daisy and Wario.

6:18 The games didn't have colour pallets for use on Super Gameboy or Colour, per say, rather the future hardware had colour pallets built into the device's bios that would be used if certain games IDs were detected. Although some games were later designed to have colur and other super gameboy exclusive backgrounds and such.
Mario land 2 should be remembered just as fondly as his console big brothers released at the time. What they managed to do with the gameboy on the second try is truly remarkable, I love it 👌

Underrated by whom? It's literally one of the most praised GameBoy games ever made.
That Gameboy color story reminded me of a time some kid left their copy of Pokémon fire red at my house 🤣🤣

I remember when I had the 3DS and bought the Mario Land games on there. They were good time wasters, but Mario Land 2 clearly had the edge thanks to the larger world and more bizarre setting.
Imagine if that kid sees this video after all those years and finally realizes what happened 😂

I never got this as Mario is clearly in the robot’s stomach, ruining the innuendo.
I had just recently been playing Super Mario Land 2 on the Nintendo Switch Online GameBoy app. It plays pretty well, despite the slightly laggy screen scrolling. Although having the Jump mapped to A instead of B feels a little awkward. Still, not too shabby overall.
I have both games and beat them both But which game I would love to go back to is really tough Thank God the Nintendo switch is bringing both of these games into their GBA and GB extension pack

Newgrounds was so amazing in a time before UA-cam. I watched so many edgy Vs animations set to random rock songs. Sooooo many of them were System of a Down because the popularity of Chop Suey!
