God bless this guy ......... i lost my 30 chicken due to newcastle diseases but next am starting again with one day old chicks .... so this guy have helped me a lot .... kiambu kenya
You can also get couple of day old chicks which have a much better chance of survival. The breeders are very important try to find reputable ones you can always negotiate...
Love from Tanzania, I have just start my chicken farm and I almost discouraged due to low capital but watching u made me strong after seeing u innovatively run ur project with maximum saving techniques.
If there's one thing I love about your work, is that you are very skilled and creative. You have saved me so much on just so you know. Thank you for the ideas!!
I am learning more saving techniques everytime I watch your videos. You know very well how to use the available resources to reduce on the costs of production leading to an increase on the profit margin. Thanks dear.
Wow! Thanks very much for the video. My next batch, this is what I am going to do. Roughly how many chicks can be accommodated in one brooder? I like how you reduce costs and re-use a lot of available material.
wow, i cant wait for next week as u bring in the chicks, This is a DIY video and if a Medical Doctor can do it then even me a social worker can do it. Oh yes i love that statement. I saw you turned the brooder house from empty to occupied with the boxes banange am learning on a daily. Oh my question is why did u spray without a mask? wont it affect you? Thanx for this timely info
Thanks Brother Farm Up. Now i understand how I lost over 50+ chicken...I have 70 new 'babies' simply because of keeping the brooder clean...and disinfected...Thanks for your teachings and instructions....From Tanzania......
I love tour videos brother!!! I love in argentina, you show us hot to get it done. I have some experience desinfecting farm barns and infrastructures, I use blich as well but desinfecting is not the end. The way you prevent bad bacteria build up is to have the surface colonised with good bacteria... As prevention is more effective using good bacteria than desinfecting. Bc only good bacteria prevent infections, a clean desinfected place is breading ground for good and bad bacteria, but a place coloniced for lactobasilus or EM1 it's gonna be safer for the baby chicks... Keep up the good work and thankx for you're content Rodrigo
Gracias Garcia. And thanks for the advice. And true, I only use the bleach before the birds come in. After that it's prevention and even possibly use probiotics. Thanks again
Thanks farm up you have been very helpful, God bless, the question I have is, is it better to have chickens of the same breed or different, and is it also better to start with chicks or 3-4 months grown chickens?
Thanks for the tips, sharing Knowledge for free is not easy. in return i will also let you know where to get the red heat bulbs at more than half the price you mentioned.
