Awesome way to get to work, just ride downtown on the best trail you can find.
biking is allowed anywhere in my opinion. biking is a way to connect the spirit to the earth your riding on. it's just you, a bike, and a place to ride. for a good biker, that feeling is strong enough, that he/she can ride anywhere, allowed or not. and btw who can catch you when you shred down a hill and fly through the air ? as long as you don't do it in someones backyard you should be fine :)

completely agree with halfpipefreak! I did dh on my hardtail and felt every minute mistake I made, casing a jump was a pain all over, over shooting a jump sent a shock up my whole body but a full sus with good coil and oil on the rear gave me a lot more lee way, you could get away with rougher features on a course, drops felt so good as well!

full suspension has progressed from hardtail riding which has progressed from rigid (no suspension) - mid 1990s downhill biking and late 80s was all like this, just search "1990s downhill mountain biking"
well that's indeed a great mystery to me too. i also thought i would have the 720p and 1080p options but i think youtube was a litlle drunk when i uploaded the vid. so yeah i really don't know why there's no HD option om here, sorry dude :p

the kona supreme operator is a true DH/FR bike and the shred is an allround single track kinda shred bike which you can do a little bit of everything with. but it doesn't come cheap. but i have seen rrp before somewhere. i don't know what it stands for anymore though. but if you are used to kona bikes then it probably will be a good replacement to buy a kona supreme operator. but it's expensive :P cheers man :)

@calderdalemtb look, i don't claim this is MY video, if you watch it till the end you'll see the credits. but people could also just stop whining about copyright bullshit and just enjoy the video because that's the reason i put this video up in the first place. but of course there are always people who have to complain about everything, even when there's nothing to complain about, but that doesn't change the fact that i love Downhill and therefore i post some vidz on the web, DH 4 life !

I agree with halfpipefreak. Riding a real DH trail on a hard tail will destroy you and your bike. In fact, riding a real DH trail on a big bike can still destroy you and your bike...

i don't know but i wouldn't try it. it think a lefty would break into pieces at the hub if you try jumps like these. and do really DH stuff you know. but i you could try it if you want to but i would definately choose for a double crown DH fork and a DH or FR bike. cheers man ;)

well, then i suggest to go for it dude, seriously, just try to get out there and improve your skills everyday, in a couple of years you might be able to get a DH bike and shred like an animal. if it's your dream you have to focus on it and go for it. ask your parents or family for money or a 2nd hand DH bike. i learned almost every trick in the book with an old specialized from the year 1999. nothing is impossible !! cheers bro :D

@davidr943 you could buy a specialized big hit or a kona stinky or a giant glory or something. sepends on how much money you have and hom much skills you have on a (DH) bike. i would go for a bike with rock shox boxxers or marzocchi 888 or manitou dorado forks and a fox rear damper. those are very reliable and good shox you know. but there are millions of choices and everyone has his/her own thoughts and experience with some brands you know. you should do some research.good luck man!
