When you were at the dark chest you could have gotten camo pants because in the new update after you come out of camoflauge it gives you a huge tears and damage up, not only that you would have gotten a .5 speed up from rock bottom.

@@dissonantnuance1500 yeah but it wouldnt stack, your stats cant lower but if you lose the current bonus they cant get higher. (theres a stat cap but your true stats still apply meaning you cant infinitly stack stats )
It hurts that you ignored all tears up items after getting hallowed ground, if you get a tears up(with rock bottom) and then walk into hallowed ground you’ll get a higher tears rate because it scales with tears and damage. Basically if you have a higher base tears you’ll have a higher boost from hallowed ground

Yeah. An easy way to think of how Rock Bottom really works is to consider it like a "high score" for your stats. Your actual stats are always calculated in the background, and if they beat the previous high score, your stat increases accordingly.

Then to double down on the situation he fails to take rock bottom before going into the angel deal, what happens if god head or sacred heart are in there? Instead he get's hollowed ground and then get's hit to activate it but without rock bottom you now need to take more unnecessary damage to activate it again instead of using it once... ffs.
@@EvilEldrin Hindsight is 20/20 but he didn’t make a wrong play I don’t think. What if godhead or sacred heart was two uses of spin down away from the item in the angel deal? You never know. It goes either way.
@@elemayo2113 It's about giving yourself options and Sinvicta doesn't do that.
Clear the floor before using the item, check for sac rooms, angel opportunities, devil rooms, secret rooms, blood machines all options he doesn't consider when he plays.
Like i said, he himself said he's not a good player, were allowed to point out his mistakes, perhaps he may even learn from them in the future. Maybe he's content with being an average player who continues to "more luck than judgement" his way through runs.
I think in caves 1 you should've spidown the razer THEN clear rest of the floor that way you should've been able to get both of the items
Yeah, that’s what I was wondering especially since he said he wanted to have a full charge for the next floor but then was continuing to not use it and waste it lol. I’ve done stuff like that so it always hurts watching someone else do it lol

@@ciarangale4738 I don’t think in this instance is was a case of not wanting to hyper optimize. I think he is a smart player, his Eden streak was a testimony to that. It’s just like I said tho, it sucks seeing that happen cuz Ik I’ve made a lot of those mistakes and it’s the same “ughh damn it could’ve been better” feeling
i know you said that you read these comments, and i want you to know that in a very dark time of my life, your daily uploads gave me something to look forward to every day. i'm not going to go overboard and say you necessarily saved my life, but you gave a big reason for me to wake up every morning. Hey Sinvicta. I haven't played Isaac in probably like 7 years or so on the old flash version. I've been enjoying watching your videos lately and it's inspired me to pick up rebirth and I'll eventually pick up the extra DLC.
I'm pretty bad because I don't know what a lot of the items do again yet. But I managed to beat mom finally.
Later on I got on a run where I was on womb 2 (I hadn't even beaten mom's heart once yet), and I got teleported to a devil deal room from a curse chest. But the devil deal on that floor only leads to sheol. So I ended up going down to sheol just to see what would happen. I found Sissy of all things in sheol and ended up beating Stanley before I'd even beat mom's heart once.
Keep up the great work. I appreciate the daily uploads :)
i highly recomend buying at least afterbirth + and getting external information mod, makes the game 100 times more enjoyable imo, i played normal isaac rebirth for maybe 200 hours and after getting the dlc and mod ive enjoyed the game so much more than before and that says alot!

Rock Bottom + Brimstone.
With this combo I'd even consider taking Soy Milk.
Soy Milk makes it so Brimstone doesn't have to charge up and you can just hold the attack key for an eternal Brimstone beam.
With Rock Bottom before Soy Milk of course you don't lose damage and get to have the perma Brimstone.
it will severely impact all future damage up items

Rock bottom accounts for loosing the buff from your poop (like all temporary buffs). That is why you did not get a tears up from Binky. If you look a few moments after the situation, you regained your poop buff and then the additional Tears up from binky gets accounted for when taking the buff.
I could not think of a better run to watch on my birthday.

This run was amazing! Spindown dice continues to massively improve the quality of the builds you can get, though I feel there is a very thin line between becoming more powerful and being outright greedy. I, for one, would have taken either Euthanasia or Ghost Pepper with _11_ luck, since both of these items are affected by it, and I rather like both effects, tbh.
This run also brought the confirmation I needed regarding Eden's Birthright: yes, it can pull from the Planetarium pool. Which is really rather awesome =D

I'm doing this for almost 2 years.
Like I started my comment streak in may. And since than so much happened.
I've made new friends.
I got promoted.
Watched new animes.
Got under a somewhat iron curtain.
Traveled through the whole south of Russia.
Got involved into a real big project at work.
Closed my moms credit depth.
Moved into our own house from my aunts place.
And so much more. It's quite unbelievable how much happened as I leaved all this comments.
Not to mention how things changed in the whole world. The day I started this streak, everything was really different.
I had my first game breaking fun with spidown dice. Even if I shoot 1 time my whole PC kept crashing so I only used monstrance to kill enemies

Simpler Rock-Bottom explanation: Stats calculation continues as normal behind the scenes, but the highest calculated value stays active.
That's also why Sinvictas comment about negative pills not affecting you is not technically correct. It does affect you in the way that it prevents your stats from going higher when you get positive pills.

Hey Sin, there are some isaac stability update mods on the workshop that you may want to look into. (For example yesterday I didn't crash with the parasite, crickets body, conjoined and Jacob's ladder)
At 4:13 if he spun that and took that item, paired with rock bottom that is a free +5 tears
You missed out on Camo Shorts rock bottom. It is a surprisingly great combo.
I really never leave likes on videos but the like streak for some reason works for me and gets my attention.

I'm so mad external information isn't in the game by default. It's such a good mod and it's not like it breaks the game or gives an unfair advantage. It literally just tells you what items do in case you forgot and a little more. But I'm on switch so I'm shoot outta luck :/

If you are using the Sinvicta Character again, make sure to check everything first.
Because, knowing Isaac, if it crashes, the Sinvicta Mod has the slight problem of not being able to continue a run - at least that's a problem for me.
So may be worth keeping that in mind.
