Drone Career Pathways Program - First in the Nation

During the United States Conference of Mayors, East Orange Mayor Ted R. Green announced a Drone Career Pathways Program that he pioneered with Alpha Drones USA, Inc. The commercial drone training program was presented in Washington, DC at the United States Conference of Mayors during a Workforce Development Council Board and Annual Meeting on January 17, 2024. Kelvin King, Founder and CEO of Alpha Drones USA, Inc., offered remarks during the presentation that was led by Mayor Green and members of the East Orange Mayor's Office of Employment and Training.

1/17/2024 I am so glad and proud to witness the courage, foresight and initiative of the members of the East Orange community. They have not only built a business, but they have created a legacy. There are many opportunities in the use of drones. We are at the forefront of industries such as the airplanes and automobiles. The use of drones as mentioned in the video is unfolding, deliveries, inspections, cleaning, advances in agriculture and farming, the list goes on.
And to introduce this new concept to young people is a marvelous opportunity for their future and may be a steppingstone into the world of aviation.
Congratulations to this group of PIONEERS. May they be applauded, supported and encouraged in this monumental step they have taken for the advancement of all.
