Only those who’ve lived in the outback bush can understand your lifestyle. And a freedom that comes with it. Despite the heat dust etc you own it. It has its own beauty. Pleasure to watch now I’m 70 and can’t manage that anymore. Thank you. ❤
It's definitely something you have to experience, we weren't ready for it when we first moved out here and it took a lot for some of the less desirable things to just become the norm!
I have to tell you, Nyssa, I am becoming COMPLETELY spoiled by these recent videos!!! Your family is A-dorable (including You and Darryl). Thank you so much for keeping me company; you feel like a friend.
Love the arm sweep! Cant stop a good tradition! Nyssa you are amazing and I love that you are living life your way. I have to tell you. I think you are an amazing cook. I admire your ability to work out recipes and make them work for you and for your families likes. Just so fun to watch. I misunderstood I thought we couldn't order if we lived in the states. My mistake. I will just have to order for next Christmas.
Nessa you made me smile when you said there's a rooster and said this is life what a wonderful life for your children I would imagine it would be most children's dream a oh what fun ❤❤❤❤
I do love our lives, I know there's cons to a lot of things and we live in half done tasks constantly etc, but I do love our life and I wouldn't want anything else. The kids can choose to stay or explore elsewhere and they'll always be welcome back, but this is my forever! :D
Love watching your video's everyday and LOVE how long they are. Its interesting seeing how other people spend their days, even if you don't think its interesting it is! Love watching what your up too. Would love to see you make your soaps when you make them.🎅🤶
Loving the vlogs.. hoping that they continue after the new year... Not that I mind the voiceovers of course..idk what it is but It's just something about these vlogs I'm really enjoying.. Thank you for sharing...
"The lamb got my homework." Great story. Priceless. Really liked the craft the kids were doing. Really neat. The trees are so neat to watch being made. A rooster on your house. Off-grid in Australia for sure. Certainly doesn't happen at my house. Fun video Nyssa. Thank you.
Lamington has managed to damage the screen door, impatient to get out to the paddock before we get it open, so now the rooster can wander in to the top of the house when he's looking for a cooler spot lol, the actual 'inside' of the house is closed off, but he makes himself at home where he can lol. The melty beads are pretty awesome, I like these kinda crafts that teach some fine motor skills, a bit of math etc, but they enjoy it and end up with things to show off!
Loved todays video. Was nice ti see the tree being cut on laser machine. Can appreciate how labour intensive the whole process is from your design to the end project. Wish i had ordered this for my family now. Doughnuts looked nice. Like you cutting back on carbs and sweet things😢
Your artwork and that of the kids is wonderful. I love the trees and the name ornaments. Unfortunately I can't share this video with my husband since you've made the donuts look so easy, he will assume I'm going to immediately make some for him--not happening! Thanks for another charming video.
Have you thought of doing the tie dyeing for adult sized singlets or T-shirts? I love the blues and greens you’ve done with the children’s clothes. Loving your Christmas vlogs ❤
Good to see Darrell training the kids! Those little donuts looked great! I love the spiced Dutch biscuits, tho the price has gone through the roof. You looked so hot
Wow Nyssa , the video of your tree cutting is amazing... you have many many talents.. Lamington eating the homework..😂😂. It's very responsible and respectful that you are only adding the children if they wish too.. .. it's wonderful seeing you each day.. 😊😊
I know that there's a pressure having a camera running on myself all the time and I don't want that pressure on them, if they choose to show snippets they can be involved, but I don't want them to feel like they have to be 'on' when they don't want to hehe, that's a pressure for an adult who has made the choice, not them :D
Well Nyssa in my opinion you are not showing your children (only if they wish) to gain content for UA-cam as A LOT of people do, .. so it's a very responsible as a parent... 🙂
I think your children are very lucky to be living the life they are.. you have no reason to worry about on line predators whom search on social media for content with children.. This is very worrying because some are exploiting their children. This is my opinion Nyssa of course we love to see the kids and how they have grown. But I especially like them helping you unpack your grocery haul.. 🙂
Ms Nyssa, u dont realize what a precious soul u are...today is my 6th day in bed with covid, as a retired nurse, I am not a good patient...your kids feeding the aminals was precious ....
When I was a kid growing up out at Taroom we used to have a hen that always came inside and layer her eggs on my cousin’s pillow and love sitting on laps.
Nyssa girl loved the way you casually mentioned "" got a rooster on my sofa "" priceless dry humour was laughing my head off 😅😅😅😅 The donuts looked tasty 😋😋 Really enjoying you chatting while doing things 😊😊 The flourish presentation is great love it 👏👏👏 As always a pleasure to watch 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Love from the UK x
They actually beep when you leave them open, so I'm not sure how this one got missed! I just realised, you are who I've been trying to chase up re the pot holder order :D You emailed me to change the colour but didn't reply as to what you wanted on them!
I've been experimenting outside of the stuff I know with the kids, D did some little miniatures to use as his figures in tabletop D&D etc! I want to keep on experimenting and trying stuff hehe :D
@@OurSmallFootprint Sounds great , I'd be keen to see what miniatures you make , I own a 1:12 scale house and a 1:44 which sits inside it but I can't get a hold of furniture for it here in Australia
This sounds like a very complicated eating plan 😢 I wouldn’t even stick to it for a week. For me it’s been skim milk coffees, lots of salad and boiled eggs, and lots of Genetix protein powder in low fat yoghurt and icewater shakes. The Caramel one is good. Then a normal dinner but low carb, either a small baked potato or brown rice 😅 with meat or chicken or fish.
I swear you’re loosing weight in your hands. I have noticed you loosing weight even if you feel like you’re not. I think it’s great. And good on ya for doing the diet and supporting your husband. Just completely random while I was watching your hands move in the laser graving part of the video. ❤
Darryl is loving it, its working really well for him, I'm struggling a little, I don't have a great appetite at the best of times and then restricting so much of what I can eat makes it challenging for me to 'want' to eat and I'm probably not really eating enough. But I haven't weighed myself yet and am unsure if its reflecting on anything that way (not that my weight is my focus) so far pain wise I don't really feel any difference, but I think it will take longer for me to see how it goes, so we're doing the next 8 weeks no matter what and then we'll reassess!
I don't either, its definitely a boon, but some kids prefer some veggies over others and when dished up in certain ways they'll pick through and eat what they want and leave some behind hehe.
omggg all birds are making their way to you, they know good living, i,m a bird i,m on my way lol xxx on a serious note ,do you think someone is dumping them on your property intentionally?, because they cannot look after them? xx
The back of our property is a huge highway, I think that a lot of animals get dumped in the general area and make their way to somewhere that works for them if they can, because we have so many chooks already and free ranging animals there's always food here and lots of animal noise so I think we're just a focal point. But its definitely possible.
I thought this also when she said in one of her videos a while back that these birds just showed up randomly. I’d do the same. Someone’s loss is my gain.

They wipe down the kitchen benches after they've made their breakfasts etc, and yeah, animal chores, so all 6 have diff aspects of the nightly animal chores that we supervise, feeding and watering all the poultry, feeding the pigs and checking their water IBC is full, feeding the dogs etc. Some kids have extra jobs they enjoy, Sonnet is usually my whipper snipperer for example heh :).
