At 107mph Michael hits the brakes AND puts the automatic transmission into 1st gear. No wonder the tires were screeching. No-one told Michael, when they said the car is indestructible, they were talking about the outer shell. I don't think molecular bonding can be done to the gearbox internals or the oil.
