True... I guess it's the idea of a big muscular guy who's an alpha but can be the sweetest and gentlest human being, especially when they are in love with someone
I'm currently 3 hours and 30 minutes into the audiobook, and it feels like this is not going the way I thought it would. I expected Tobias to report the human trafficking, but instead, he's pretending like he didn't even encounter it. For a story that discusses human trafficking and tries to frame Tobias as a good person, it fails. It makes me hate him even more, especially since he remains friends with the person who invited him to a party that turned out to be an auction for young girls who are not even of legal age. Tobias spent 25 million or whatever because he wanted Beck for himself, not to save him from the guy. He didn't try to save anyone else or call the police. At no point did he try to do anything legally. He shouldn't have taken Beck's v-card; it wasn't his place to do that. He didn't even get to know Beck's age, and we don't know Beck's age either. But considering that he was going to college a few months later, it makes me think he was underage or just 18, which is still bad. Tobias taking Beck to live with him is a grooming tactic, making him feel loved and financially dependent on Tobias. It's so wrong. This story is not good. I like your other stories, but this one is not it. It was not wholesome like you might have intended; it's creepy, and it raises so many red flags. I know it's a work of fiction, but that doesn't mean writing things that sound so awful and disturbing is acceptable.
Hey there! Thanks for giving it a listen, and for all your feedback! I can't say I disagree with anything you've said. I'm not sure if I would classify it as wholesome at all 😅 If I were to rewrite this story now, 5 years later, it would be written an entirely different way now that I've found more of my voice and purpose as an author. I think additionally I tackled a premise I often come back to in later stories that I wasn't actually ready to tackle just starting out. I should've waited and spent more time honing my skills before tackling a relationship that complex, or at the very least trigger-warning it for people who aren't interested in dubious-consenting relationships. Again, thank you so much for your feedback. I appreciate it.
Truthangel, Thank you for thorough review. I realize it takes time to provide in-depth comments which contain factual information. But without these type reviews, it's difficult to determine if the content is something you'll enjoy or something that will provide nightmares requiring increased dosages of prescription meds. Yeah, I got issues so I need meds plus a soothing, distracting bedtime story. I've found several L. Loryn stories to be distractingly interesting without stressing my overactive imagination. So I'm careful to choose ones which are "safe", with happy endings, since I have complex PTSD. Much Appreciated 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thanks for sharing this. It has an unusual start, but the very warm hearted love story that you develop from there is quite enjoyable.
Thank you for giving it a listen, and thanks for the feedback. 🖤
For your first story, this one was incredible. I’ve listened to all the ones on UA-cam.❤🏳️🌈
Oh man. Thank you 😭 you’re too kind.
It was lovely
Toby's patience melted me the whole time ❤
Thanks for listening! Toby had the patience of a saint 🙏🏾 but Beck needed it.
