    I always hugged the first NOBO Hiker that was taller than me because I was the Silk Blazer! LOL! Great list! Happy Hiking!

      Haha, yea sometimes that one hiker that you meet in front of you, that has taken this burden upon themselves for a few hours is a bonding experience! Thank you, it was a fun list to make.

    On Jan. 8, 2021, the AT Conservancy's page on the 2000-miler award says "The ATC assumes that those who apply have made an honest effort to walk the entire Trail, even if they did not walk past every white blaze." Walk, not canoe.

      Oh, well then did not know that! Heard differently, haven't been staying up to date on the AT as much as I wish we could!

      oh oh oh, it is a very real and very prevalent type of "blazin" out there. Hope you have more laughs when walking by and meeting the green blazer!

      We buy at the laundromat. In 3 weeks starting 2021 hiking season with the Florida Trail, then from there continuing for 8,000 miles on different trail systems.
