I enjoyed a delicious coffee at Amorino in October this year, order on the screen, take a seat and its brought out to you. Lovely place to sit in the shade with seaview, and very reasonably priced. Looking forward to popping in there again in January when I return for some (hopefully!) winter sun.
Looking forward to checking this place out next July, we were in matagorda this year and coming back to playa blanca next year, it's been 10 years since we've been there, it'll be interesting to see how much it's changed
We were at Lasal in May and all three restaurants were open and looked really good and the ice cream shop was busy. We didn’t try any of the restaurants as it was too early to eat. It’s a lovely area, let’s hope it stays that way.
Excellent video, Mike. We kept walking past the building work this Spring, hoping that it would be somewhere good to eat and shop. Just what we wanted for when we’re back in September 👍🏻
Hi Mike. Great video as always. Just to correct you, the "Santos" watch dealers on Lanzarote are not Rolex authorised dealers. There are only 4 Rolex authorised dealers in the Canaries, two on Tenerife and two on Gran Canaria. ⌚⌚⌚👍
Does your camera only do 1080p30? It is really hard to see when you move the camera. Have you tried shooting in 720p60 instead? Most monitors and TV's are soo good at upscaling. So it would be better to have the 60 fps. Not meant as critique, just thought I mention it. Not all know that 30 fps mode can be the cause of that smear when moving the camera around. 😃👍 ❤ Amazing video as always! Very interesting and fun to watch. 😀
Hi Mike we there in November,a Sunday flight do you taxis will be less busy then, never usually had a problem, going home we have a late afternoon flight, and have to be out if our accommodation early,so we are going to try the bus.
Thanks for another interesting video. With regards to the queue for taxis, are we likely to have a problem getting a cab from the airport (and back again at the end of the holiday)?
It depends very much on the time of year, and day of the week. At peak times, for example, Saturdays currently, it's a struggle from Playa Blanca, as there aren't enough taxis in Playa Blanca to cope with the requirement. At the airport end, again, when there are a lot of flights in at once, the queue for taxis can be quite long. If you're concerned, I'd book a private transfer.
What I dont get is, we already have a shopping centre at Marina Rubicon, which is basically empty of shops. Now build the same thing right next door with the same shops.
I'm only guessing here, but I've always suspected the Rubicon shopping centre struggles because people just don't know it's there. The footfall along the promenade is huge, and everyone walking along it heads straight into the marina. They probably don't even see the shopping centre as they walk into the the marina, and then when they leave, they head back straight to the promenade again. These new shops are located somewhere they can see them, and I have no doubt they will stop and check them out.

I saw the bare shells of these last September - great progress!
We so enjoy your videos thank you x
I saw when they were building! Can't wait to go back ❤

Yep, we're moving to shooting in 4l 60FPS with a new camera, so look out for that going forward.

Generally the island is quieter in November, so you shouldn’t have queues for a taxi, unless there are loads of flights arriving at the same time.
It looks fantastic, thank you!! Do you live there?
In Lanzarote? Yes.
Thankyou😊

Don't get me wrong these are much better shops.
