- I have finally taken my dream trip to Vietnam. I start my month long adventure in Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon .
Today I meet up wit Doug from@PlanetDoug and we go on a boat adventure up the Saigon River. Probably one of the best values in the city

I was surprised by the skyline myself. It was a beautiful trip up the river. Especially for the price.
The little lad was photo bombing Doug a few times as well. I love seeing him jumping around behind Doug in the background when I'm signing off. Haha he was an adorable kid.

Ahh so great to finally see how that day unfolded with the both of you. Btw technically you could do one way trip but that would mean finding stuff to do at destination and take a cab ride back which I did once as I visited a mall near there but cost far far more going back on land... lol
Good to know. When we got over there, we didn;'t have any opportunity to explore past the shelters because of the rain coming down. Haha

WOW looks so nice, love me a boat trip, have you been to Grand Manan on the ferry, it is awesome, I went couple years ago and slept on the beach, it was 35 bucks a night in a cabin with a tent roof.
It's been ages since I've been to Grand Manan. I loved it there.
When I was a kid, my grandparents lived in Borden PEI and I used to love taking the ferry over to the island. I have a lot of great memories as a kid being on the water, so this trip with Doug brought back a bunch of great memories for me n
