- Hi everyone, I’m back with a look at what’s new in Poundland including Halloween & Christmas, lots of £1 items and some winter essentials! Plus there’s a haul at the end of the video 😀

You are the best at filming in store, thank you. Lots of people hosepipe with the camera and you end up feeling very very sick. Great haul.
For this winter you can also put curtains over the doors just like the Victorians did, we did that a few years ago and it does make a difference, only problem is running out of doors😊

I'm pushing 70 years old and grew up watching my mum replacing summer curtains with heavy lined curtains and hanging doors curtains for winter. With single glazing and no central heating, it was the sensible thing to do. I have carried on the practice, even though I have long had all those amenities, because it just makes sense. Why waste money on turning up the heating when cozy curtains can save a bob or two! I love my winter curtains, it tells me that Christmas is around the corner and it's time for warm evenings in with good books, favourite films and family around.
@@snowysnowyriver I always do that as did my mother summer curtains winter curtains more so nowadays with energy prices being so high
I've just changed my voiles I use for the summer for thicker curtains for the winter too.

Good time to shop for your Childrens Christmas shoe box charity. I think Poundland is involved in that in the UK. I’m sure you’d do a marvellous shoe box. 😂🎉

Great vlog. That Poundland is amazing, so much stock. Very disappointed the purchases did not include the cat dad mask and tail. I howled when I saw that 😂. The kitties are just lovely.

Thank you for showing us around the shops. I live in a household with vulnerable people so tend not to mooch in shops as often as I used to hehehe. Really does scratch that itch of wanting to window shop.

Another Sunday vlog just loved it , so much choice in Poundland at the moment . I loved your snowman mug but my favourite was the Christmas pudding one I think I'll be popping into Poundland for that one. So lovely and funny to see the kittens in the background they love camera time too .
Hello Mr C, great video, it encouraged me to visit Poundland today, bought the Snowman cup and the Christmas pudding cup, i also took your advice on the dishwasher tabs, don't have a dishwasher but going to have a go on the oven! Love the kittens, when they are on and then go off screen, my cat Eli goes around the back of the TV trying to find them, thanks again for a great video, keep up the good work xxx

Oooh you’ve been busy! Our poundlands are never as good as wherever you go! Good idea to get the draft excluder. We buy our batteries from there, along with the tissues and toothpaste. I didn’t know that dishwasher tablets were good for ovens! This is great to know as I have breathing issues with some cleaning products. Love the tree ornament and the snowman ⛄️ cup! Loved your video so thank you for that. One thing I'll say about the halogen heater...they can cause skin cancer and also a fire risk. I opted for a 1500w oil filled radiator and its safe and absolutely amazing for warming one room . I got mine from screw fix for 29 quid and I wouldn't be without it

Thanks for the video, Mr. C. You find that you can't beat the likes of Poundland for Stocking Fillers at Christmas Time, rather than shop at the Bigger stores and Supermarkets. Poundland are excellent at having something of everything under the same roof. Took note of a few things you mentioned. Best wishes to you, thank you 👍👏😉......
Also good for stuff for shoebox fillers if you do them for charity.

You are beginning to be a cat dad! You look at anything that is a cat or for cats 😹 From a cat lady to a cat dad: Be careful with the heater. Cats love the heat and they are still to small to understand that they can't get to close to this ones. I love the mugs you bought, the one with the brooms and the snow man one. Give the cats the slippers' box to the kittens, they will love it. I always have a box or two around the house for my furry babies.
The slippers were a good buy. I got some quite new Ugg boots, for the first time £20 from a charity shop. Normally Rrp £125. I saw lots on Ebay. so always worth a check. Good to see the kitties growing up. Our two are over one year old...time flies 🐾🐾❤🩹💙💜

Even the tins of paint are quite stylish in design, yep I bought the Halloween pumpkin, skeleton and cat nutcrackers, but didn't see the Count I guess he flitted away before I got there🤔
You got some excellent deals at your Poundland. My favourite is the snowman mug. I am one of those people that cannot buy mugs with any gold on them because I drink slowly/lose my mug/forget my coffee and constantly have to nuke it, which would not go well in the microwave. Love your new slippers. Thank you for taking us shopping Mr. C.
My eye consultant recommended the Poundland Reading Glasses to me, I have had a couple of pairs in the past.
From your haul I really loved the blue & silver tree decoration because it doesnt look cheap and I love the snowman mug. The mug would make a nice present with some hot chocolate packs (Options type or similar). I have had batteries from Poundland before, they are ok. Thanks for the reminder about the foam weather strip too because I need to get some.
You just cannot beat them can you I went to home bargains and b&m on Friday got some great bargains for Christmas 🎄🎄⛄

I haven't seen the Hocus Pocus film either. One UA-camr said to watch the first one as they said they thought it was better. I used to have a halogen fire and it was ok, but the brightness used to get on my nerves. xx

You’ve got the right colours for the new year ahead Mr C! Nick Lewis from Canada said these were the probable Colours of the Year, and I mentioned in my comments how you already have a cosy combo of them on your cushions. It’s that light purple, ochre, maroon and pink or grey I think.

Already commented ,i remember having one of those hallogen heaters about 20 years ago they are ok and don't use much electric but have to sit right by it to keep warm. Does not warm the whole room it well not in my old victorian huge rooms high ceilings i mean. I love my slippers someone bought me some fake hug ones they only lasted a year before the sole deteriated

I have a quartz heater. It’s really effective and seems quite cheap to run. It also gives bright light so saves putting lights on too.

Please watch your cats around lit candles--one of mine ignited the static electricity on her fur from a nearby candle and it went up with a whoosh. Fortunately, I grabbed her and put her under the tap. It was a heart-pounding moment for sure.

I was hoping you would get the snowman mug, it is adorable! You could make those little easels for one of your DIY projects for sure. The jewel decoration is so pretty, again you could DIY with costume jewelry from a charity/thrift store.

Snowman mug is defo the bargain of the day. Lovely. No one would guess that was a poundland buy. Helpful tip about the dishwasher tablets. I don't have a dishwasher so always ignore them but never occurred to me could be used for oven. How did you get on with the STATUS Heater? Might get one. I have UGG slippers too. Really recommend. Have decent soles and don't fall apart like others (and breathable)
