Thank you for this information! How does it work for apartments? I keep hearing that high rise buildings never change periods, it’s established once the first person moves into any of the units. Say the building was constructed in July 1984 and I moved into it November 2023. Is my unit period 7? Or did it update to period 8 when I moved in last year? Also, I still haven’t been able to figure out if my building is technically a high rise since it’s only 3 storey high with 2 units per floor and I view it as a “low rise” 😅 is it a high rise regardless?
"I keep hearing that high rise buildings never change periods, it’s established once the first person moves into any of the units." - this is correct. Anything that isn't a single family home, 3 floors or 300
Great clarification! You are always so informative!
