- Tug of War between the BIG Tank and Lego technic models! Different variants of the 42099.
A bit of fun here to see if these vehicles can stop the Tank!
I had to film on the lawn as there just wasn’t enough space inside! The grass seemed like a fair surface!
Thank you for all the votes in the Poll! I’m blown away as usual by your contributions!
The final battle has come... all vehicles, enemies and friends of the past, must work together to defeat the big tank, and restore balance to the battlefield!
Love this😎
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines He's right, you should put all your vehicles against it
I break most up unfortunately and I only had the liebherr which didn’t have enough track🙁
My Car can pull 3 Liebherr at once
I Hadnt enough pieces
Make another big tank designed to make big tank stop yawning and drag him around
Haha I wish I had the parts to make two beastly tanks😀
Big tank vs bigger tank
What makes this tank invincible: 1 Weight (about 7 kilograms), 2 pulling forces (it's also a track system, so it doesn't slip) 3 centers of stability (normally very large vehicles can always tip over, but this center of stability won't matter even if the tank falls .. Nothing changes as it is a monitored system.) Great job; D (We had a fight with translate to translate this short article ;D)
Haha Kayra and you definitely won this time! I totally agree!
And thank you very much I always appreciate your comments!😀
I agree with this comment, does something exist to beat that „moving wall“?
I dont think so not just yet! The next tank will be much stronger but I have to dismantle this one first🙁
That tank is so powerful it might be able to bull you on a wagon around town! I also thought the 8x8 wound have 4 wheels in the front and 4 in the back, but 2 in the front and 6 in the back is still pretty cool :)
Hey Chris! Yeah a proper one will do! I had to put this one together quickly in between the rounds!
The 5:1 reduction hubs have certainly helped compared to the usual 3:1 drivetrain on the tracked vehicles! They’re so, so strong too😀
I agree
how strong is the big tank?
GazR: YES
Haha I like
Big Tank: Why are you trying to pull me when you won't be able to 🤣
haha love this😀
I saw your cats tail in the vid. Maybe put a string launcher function on the big tank to pull the cat when he is naughty! 🤣😂
Haha she’s only just getting used to them ! I’m not sure that would go down well😂
Alternite title: vehicles VS moving wall
😂😂
The small guys be like- why even bother 😂 man, I wish I had that huge tank, it looks so fun!
😂 Buy some tracks Benen!
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines not exactly what I need right now lol XD, and also sorry if this is annoying but, plz check email btw
Hey Benen I will do tomorrow! It’s on my other email so I never look now as it’s just full of UA-cam reply emails lol
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines k lol
Wow! You have made quite the beast of a tank there.
Hey thank you! it will be tough to beat.
Hello, your tank inspired me. Where do you buy parts? I want to build this tank. I will be grateful if you make the tank instructions. Please reply. Best Regards Kacper
i think you should maybe try the concrete as well as the grass, it seems like the tracks have a huge advantage on the grass
great videos by the way!
Hey thank you very much! 😀
The problem was finding a big enough smooth concrete area to do it! And another thing is these Lego tyres are so soft and grippy I’d fear they’d lose half of their tread! Lol
Well atleast they tried :)
Really liked the outdoor battle format!
Hey thank you Utkarsh😀 Glad you liked it on the grass, I’ll see what the normal vehicles are like against each other on there!
Big tank will probably sweep the floor with the rest of your models, they are mostly too light. I'm sure it will take at least more than 8 crawlers to defeat this monstrosity :)
Keep up the nice work!
hello!
hey thank you very much! yeah I think you’re right I’m not sure where to go now!
I heard you didn't have the parts to make a vehicle. But you do have these other vehicles.
An idea to build something to beat it is to make a huge amalgamation of everything you have besides the tank and stuff you don't want to take apart.
Throw in all the motors and wheels you got, for power and surface area, and use anything else to hold it together.
Essentially, try making the big tank go against a frankenstein of a vehicle. It doesn't have to look good, just has be able to move.
Hey that’s an idea! The 42099s don’t use many parts that I need for the big builds so it’s not even worth breaking them just for the odd 15 beam etc.
I’ll see what I can do!😀
I may just end up breaking this one as the next one really will be a ‘super’ tank!
This, is when it’s going to get interesting, good luck making a better one than that😂 it’s just so funny the easy work it made though😂
haha you just wait! the problem is I need to take this one apart to make the one which can beat it lol.
It seems we have reached the first boss of the games. This feels like one of those moments in anime when the characters are fighting and there's 2 or 3 that are way stronger than everyone else and are always fighting each other but then a random character comes along and is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY stronger than anyone else and everyone has to unite against them
My idea for something to beat this: get ur car, take the engine out of it, build a massive platform with wheels, and put your car's engine on the platform. Ok in all seriousness though, maybe a bobcat type vehicle, and when it's getting dragged by the tank it can dig its plow into the ground to keep it from being dragged. Maybe have 1 arm on the back and 1 on the front so one is pulling the bobcat and the other is keeping it form being dragged. Would be very complicated though
Lol love the comment as always! I think I made this first boss a bit too tough and ruined the game!...
I’ve hardly got any pins left either! Only my vintage ones which do not like coming out once they’re in lol
The weight of this tank is crazy! It won so many contestants because of that.
yeah definitely Ninja! Until something weighs as much I don’t think they have a chance
Woah that is so cool man! Any ideas for something that can beat it?
I’m not sure what to do tbh! I may try a small but heavy tug vehicle like which pull aeroplanes!
I havnt the parts to make another giant build! And thank you very much😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines That’s awesome! I’m excited to see what you come up with. Good luck! 😉
You're welcome and thank you for posting this it's really cool and that tank thing makes me think of that big brown thing with the little short dudes with the red glowy eyes off of Star Wars and they were also in the Mandalorian can you get one of those little characters to put on top of that tank I think he should be yawning while they pull everything backwards
Cheers Andrew! Oh you must be on about the sandcrawler so many have told me about! That would be funny😀
Big tank!
This is the first time of me seeing the 8x8
Hey this was only a quick 8x8 version, I’m hoping to do a proper one soon😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines i am excited then!!
WOAH, THAT IS A HUGE TANK!
The tank is an absolute BEAST
Hey thank you Clyde😂
Tracked vehicles for the win
You got to love tracked vehicles😀
The life size tank Is a winner!
BIG TANK VS 2X 42099,6X6 420999,8X8 42099, 9398
What if you build a big vehicle (not tracks) using all the wheels from the orange trucks, with double layer wheels (4 wheels per axle instead of 2) to try to beat this one? Maybe with no suspension so that you can load some weight on it to help it out. That way you won't have to take this one apart to build one that can beat it!
yeah I’m thinking of making a vehicle solely designed to pull! like those vehicles which pull aeroplanes! o like the idea of doubling up the tyres too!
No grip on the grass and weight advantage win haha
The grip wasn’t too bad but the weight of the tank left them with no chance 😀
it looks like Mark IV, i like it a lot
Hey thank you very much! This was my first real attempt at a large tank and I learnt a bit for next time! 😀
This thing is a monster; nothing less.
I wish I had more parts to make another giant vehicle to beat it!
I was waiting for this video ever sinse your last one came out, and that thing is a absolute BEAST, i love your builds
Hey Willem thank you! I Always appreciate your comments! The tracked vehicle is getting its revenge lol
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines haha, will you do a tug of war with all of them against the this one, and you can call it track king or track beast
Most of my builds are all in bits now unfortunately, the only one I’ve got is the Liebherr but I ran out of track pieces lol.
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines too bad, would be fun. Try to keep this one intact 😁
That will be a struggle Willem lol. But hopefully it won’t be missed when you see the next big build😀
The tank slightly struggled at 1:47
And 2:20
Yeah if I had another 4x4 it would of been very close! It seemed to struggle more against the three 4x4s oddly!
That's amazing! What a powerhouse.
Thank you so much😀
I need to sleep so I'll watch this tomorrow.
You. You there. Go to sleep.
Haha love it😀
I think with the tracks one is so heavy to handle those three vehicles
Ok I was wrong I said it would take 3 trucks to pull that beast now I'm thinking 6 lol looking like if you add extra weight that tank could probably pull your car in neutral till next time GazR keep up the good work
hey cheers Nathan I appreciate it! I think 6 too! One day I’d love to try the car pull😀
That tank must be the new version of Mark 1 tank.
That tank has an INSANE amount of torque!
yeah I’ve not managed to stop the tracks turning yet! the reduction hubs work great! So strong for Lego😀
Awesome so much power!!!! Great vid👍😎🤘
Hey cheers Nick appreciate it😀
You should call the tank Big Boy Tank
I do like that Donnacha!😎
Can you please build a SPMT, 16 axle Mammoet self propolled lifter. We use those at work for moving oil riggs after they are buildt together to move them out on the barge from land.
nobody has ever done it ever with lego so this would be cool. like lift a washing machine or something
Now that’s an impressive machine! Must be great seeing it in action and working with those machines.
I’d have to purchase a lot of parts but in the future I’d give it a go for sure!
Imperial death march starts playing...
Haha😀
Great Videos!
Could you Do timelaps Videos from building them? And Show us some Falls?😬
Keep up the work!
Hey thank you Felix! I will work towards doing that in the future! I’m Trying to learn how to film things and get the lighting right before I try stuff like that😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines that sounds great, i am excited 😉
Let's do the math! Weighs 7kilos, and has contact with the ground all along its length, compared to at the absolute most 5.17 kilos with a literal fraction of the ground contact. My guess is you'd need around 14x 42099 to have a possibility of beating it in the grass.
Now, on hardwood floor, that's a different story.
I’m now glad I didn’t buy more 42099s to see after reading this lol Thankyou 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines you totally should buy more. :P We must know how accurate my guess is!
Haha I do keep having visions of 14 on the grass! Just the 84 batteries needed lol
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines heheheh
You’re so smart, how do you make these? How long did it take to learn?
Hey thank you so much! Well when I was young I played with Lego technic so much up until I was about 12 and then it frustrated me that there was no RC! I had all kind of ideas which couldn’t really be made!
So 24 years later here I am just starting again living my Lego dream when I was kid😀
I was lost when I started with the newer Technic but the best thing to do is just build and build and you get there sooner than you think!
Wow thats just amazing, you’re very creative!
Oh yeah, just for funnies I’m making a project thingy about you like rn in my class we are learning about like youtubers and like about them and I’m doing you as my youtuber lmao. If thats okay with ya
Oh wow that’s great I’m honoured! I’m only new to this UA-cam stuff so trying to learn quick as I go a long! Good luck with your project!
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines thanks mate. 😁
Impressive performance, but it does have the weight advantage pushing the tracks into the ground. It would still do good with just 2 motors and more reduction. I seriously don't think anything lighter than it will win, unless designed specifically for a pulling event. Maybe if you had a wheeled truck with a high tow hook, so it lifts the big tank off the ground slightly..... and you'd need to do something with weight transfer, like maybe 4 wheels pivoting on a tandem bogey suspension, which allow the front of the truck raise - with a heavy weight up front ? using tactics you might better it! but you might snap an axle with the torque 👍🍺
Hey Carl I like that idea of cheating to kind of beat it! I will give that a lot of thought!
This will probably have to be just a one off build as there’s so many beams used which i need to make other things! Also it used up all my black pins!
Something with a water cannon could help lol
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines it's not cheating, it's tactics! and no different to having a super heavy tank with tons of torque and loads of grip!! should be possible to design something that might stall it, if not drag it... eg spiked wheels, and/or trailing arms that dig into the ground, so there's no way it would get pulled once that happened. However some may say that is unfair bwah ha ha! I wish you lived near me but I get the impression you're in a different timezone? I'm 🇬🇧. Where you? 👍🍺
Im up in the midlands Carl in Derby! It’s just this UA-cam stuff has thrown my sleep schedule right out the window!
I’ll see what I can do, I may just keep it as a special and start my next project. I did buy quite a few specific parts which I used in this build which were meant for the next big tank! I can’t wait to build it, will be more of a model but hopefully it works ok.
I also want to build a big bulldozer which my nieces can drive!🍺🍺
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines oh wow, I'm on the Essex border. I thought the scenery at your place looked European, but the times you replied indicated USA ! I would love to design a vehicle and get someone else to build it to my specification, the "new" Lego throws me a bit + rewind to my avatar and I'm all in! this was about 1989 btw. 👍🍺🍺
Hey Carl that’s cool! I loved the vintage Technic! I presumed you were down south a bit!
I totally understand the new Lego throwing you! When I bought my first set last December it was like learning all over again compared to the good old vintage stuff!
My first set was the 1989 backhoe jcb! 8862 When I was 5-6! My brother made it for me but I soon got into it.
Well I’ll make that upgraded sloth for you 🍺🍺
Keep up the good work I love you videos
Hey thank you I appreciate the comment😀
I'm trying to build a rc monster truck and need help with legos and can't afford any legos these days mainly lego technic made that axles but still need the rest of the build like the top and movable parts like the gearbox and the differentials if you can help that would be awesome
Hi I buy my stuff off brick link or second hand on eBay. Sometimes sets which are not complete go for really cheap.
Lego is so expensive though but it’s also really well made :)
Jawa Sandcrawler fresh though
Im really wondering how mkre bigger can u make the tank? or maybe u can sit inside of it🤔
Hey the plan one day is to make one which I can drive! I’ll work upto it😀
👌💯
Lol he answered my comment and made the 8x8 42099 I'm happy
Hey there no probs! I will make a proper one soon this was a quick mod but it was very strong! 😀
To be honest, I wonder what the results would have been if the Liebherr was involved. The tank would probably still win 😄
I was hoping the Liebherr could have entered but i was missing about 15 track pieces! Lol
It weighs a lot so it certainly would have helped!😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines hey, while I'm here, can ask you where you'd reccomend I can get some Control+ components from? It's just that I don't fancy paying £30 per motor and £75 for a hub on Lego.com. is there a cheaper alternative?
Wow that’s crazy prices! I buy the big sets off eBay! You can get the 42100 set for £210 at the moment second hand with 7 motors 2 hubs! And so many parts! I recommend this option and you can even sell parts back if you don’t want them! The set is worth double/triple in parts sold separately 😀
Damn! That's a fantastic deal! Thanks man, I'll certainly look into it!
Yeah it’s great, there’s plenty on there right now! Also most sets are usually built once! They’ve always been like new when I’ve bought them😀
Try to do all 5 together vs that massive tank
Hey unfortunately I couldn’t as I had to keep switching parts over here! 😀
Lol that truck got dragged
2:30 Sneaky kitty
haha she likes to keep a close eye on things!
If it would be like wooded ground, it is too slippy for the tank, but offroad is obviously the tanks playground
You should make another video sometime on an area with no grass the grass makes the truck's with tires have less grip
Hi I wish I could but I don’t have the room unfortunately! The grass was still quite grippy it’s just the tank had a weight advantage
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines ohh I see nice video btw loved it
Hey thank you very much I really do appreciate the comments 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines No problem 👍
Contact patch and weight = GG
Yeah the poor things didn’t stand a chance!
42099 8x8 x2 vs big tank
42099 8x8 looked the best rival! I think two of them may actually beat this goliath! :)
Yeah it would of been close! Unfortunately not enough 42099s lol 😀
amazing tank.
Thankyou as ever😀
42099 6x6 & 8x8 version moc build guide please
Hi I literally add another rear axle from the 42099 build and then just connect using some beams. There’s a few good fitting points 😀
The Tank is such a beast
Thank you glad you like it😀
You should put the Big Tank against the Normal Bulldozer (aka the bigdozer)
🤣. Yes!!! The 8x8!!
You just wait until the 12x12😂 I’ll be honest there wasn’t too much effort went into that 8x8😊
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines are you going to make a 12x12?!? yessss
I think the fortress could defeat anything you pitch at it
Yeah that’s the worry WhizI haven’t that many parts left to make another big build!
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines No problem. It’s just too powerful
I think weight defines these
Yeah most of the times as long as they have enough torque
She's a behemoth!
certainly is!
British Mk. I x Sandcrawler on steroids.
So strong!!
thats the largest MK 8 tank ive ever seen
do big tank vs
bulldozer
I wish I had both still! I’m slowly increasing my pile of parts so hopefully I’ll be able to do giant tug of wars 😀
Tank is actually Star Wars sandcrawler
Don’t tell anyone! Lol
Ok nice vid (as always) and: stay so imaginativ
Thank you so much I really appreciate it😀
Build a P1000 ratte with 1 more than the one you built and against this big tank
I wish I could keep this and build the ratte!
Btw I bought all these extra parts specifically to build the ratte! 84 sprocket s😀
the weight makes it dig in the ground wich gives it insane grip
yeah it’s actually quite hard to pull backwards with one arm! Quite impressive that the tracks do not break!
Now do every single model vs big tank
42099 6х6 is my favourite!
Hey I’m glad you like the little mod!😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Is there a separate video for this? or just a comparison with other homemade products? I somehow managed not to find. I hope translator correctly translate my thought
The translation worked perfectly!😀 I will be doing a separate video soon, it’s only a basic mod😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines I know that this is just a basic modification, but in my opinion this is exactly what the design of the original model lacked. by the way, it would be interesting to look at similar six-wheeled vehicles
That’s cool! Yeah the basic model had a few issues! One being the weight distribution with the battery pack over the rear. The gearing was long which gave powered up/control+ a bad reputation.
All hail the big tank ( tonk) i call
This tank vs the transporter
I’m saying the transporter! With the drivetrain on the front and back it was ridiculously strong!😀
Tank u for watching
Haha love it😀
Amazing video!
Hey there! Thank you so much😀
The tank loos like a Mark V
The weight is a huge contributor
Yeah definitely! I’d guess with equal weight the 4x4s would have a slight advantage
How do people even make Lego machines like these
I just build until i get it right😀
The lego tank was getting good grip on the grass ,, the cars were slipping
yeah it definitely suits the big tank, I’ll try again with the bulldozer on a different surface if I can find somewhere to film it In the house

Make a big tank vs a sloth and two 6x
I haven’t got the parts for that yet Mohammed!😀
😊 Ah, great. But I think with mpre models it could be eaven extremer
Can you send me some models over Jeri! 😀
Well, but then they would be powerd just by 2 XL motors or 4 L motors, and that would not be enought🙃
Every little helps lol
How do you make the 42009 8x8?
Hi Nick I just built another 2 x 42099 rear ends and connected them with beams! Really simple way but it worked and us strong! That was only for pulling! It wouldn’t turn very well lol 😀
