Murray River Bridge looks great, love the trains running on it
Absolutely!
Wow that bridge was awesome and expertly done ! 👍
It’s a really great bit of work! Glad you enjoyed the video Mike!
Just like being there. Thanks Will.
Thank you mate!
Thanks for showcasing Culcairn! Another great video mate
Not a problem Mark! It’ll make another appearance soon!
Looks interesting! Great production as always
Very much so! Thank you for watching!
Thanks, Will it was very enjoyable. You are doing a great job. The information is very helpful.
Thank you for watching!
Awesome video, got me exited for the Glen Waverley one in a couple weeks!
Thank you mate! Same here! Should be a good one as usual.
The Fishmarket 1890 layout impressed me with rare scratchbuilt high standard models of locomotives we are unlikely to ever see as a ready to run.
Very interested in the early era and how O scale makes good models if the pioneering era smaller locos and stock more possible to scratch build well.
The Fishmarket branch was very little known part of the railway system despite being in the Melbourne CBD. It had access to the Melbourne goods yard with a level crossing near the Flinders Street and Spencer Street intersection.
The other coverages of the exhibition I have seen did not show this at all for some reason. So thanks to you for recognising the quality of this layout.
Thank you John!
Great stuff. 👍 I was going to go but I was relying on public transport and the Hurstbridge line was partially closed that weekend and didn’t really fancy taking a bus. 😬
Thanks! Ah sorry to hear that, was a bit of a bummer the trains weren’t running but yeah got to support these events or they won’t happen unfortunately!
@@WillJamesRailways I’m based in Adelaide so it’s a bit of a trip for me but planning to make the Caulfield Model Train Show in August. 🤞🏽
looked fantastic!
Absolutely Ken!

Thank you very much for watching it!
Well done. See you in Morwell.
Thanks Mike! Looking forward to it!
Great video Will. I was there Saturday morning. Had a fantastic time. My standouts were Murray Bridge, Grosvenor St, Beechy and Apple Cove. Those were some great layouts. Can't wait for next years show. - Nicholas.
Thanks Nicholas! Some excellent choices there!
Fantastic video Will!
Truly one of the best presented Australia exhibition videos I’ve watched. The narration, videography and sound is spot on.
Well done.
Thank you very much Stephen!
I see those same grain hoppers here in the US all the time!
Ah nice!
Will, thank you for sharing. It is great to see the exhibitions coming back, and looks like bigger and better than ever.
Cheers, and stay safe, Michael
Thank you for watching Michael!
cool thanks mate
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing Will! Didn't get a chance to get there this year but great to see it kicking on after all the lockdowns. Looking forward to getting back there next year. Keen to see how the progress on the Mars-themed layout is going!
Thanks for watching! I reckon next year will be even better!
Looks to be a great show, Will! Nice range of layouts too! Are you coming to the Adelaide Model Railway Show this year? I will be operating one of my good mates On30 American layout.
Thanks for sharing with us! Keep well. Regards, Caleb
Thanks for the comment Caleb! I won’t be coming to Adelaide this year, as we have three exhibitions on here (Victoria) that weekend! But I hope to make it next year!
@@WillJamesRailways damn that's a shame. Oh well, I'll be sure to get some footage if you're interested of course? I am just hoping I am a little better in the health department. I am going to be devastated if I miss the show. I've missed other important rail events including my voluntary work on the Pichi Richi Railway because I've been so unwell. Last Friday was a big test as I went trainspotting for the first time since February. And boy, was I stuffed after that lol. Need a lot more rehab until I am back to full strength again. It's incredibly frustrating, to say the least, but I guess it can only get better I suppose. Keep well, yourself, Will. Regards, Caleb
Great to see such good layouts and in a hall with plenty of room. I was disappointed in the bendigo display at Easter, where they seems to hire a small space in a. Large hall and on attending sat morning, we couldn’t even get near the layouts. Considering we are meant to be social distancing it was way too small an area.
I agree Robert, lots of room! I can understand that, I went to the Bendigo expo on the Sunday and it was a lot quieter and much easier to get around! Hopefully they can use both parts of that hall next year!
If you join a model railway club do you have to supply you own rolling stock or just the locomotives?
Hello! Some yes and some you don’t! Probably best to contact your local club to see what the situation is!
I couldn't get the name of the company that was selling signals, do you have an Web site I could go to. Thank you
San Mateo is the name of the company that makes the signals
Thank you mate!
