I just wanna say that in Tel Aviv you can wear whatever you want but in some neighborhoods in Jerusalem you can’t. It is really depends on where you are planning to go. I just love the way she explained it❤
I have respect for how seriously they take Shabbat in their country.
Me too!
We don't
Some of us do
Most not really
I'm from Israel bc we have a God that says to us to not use electronic stuff so yeah I just love explaining this bc then ppl will respects Israel
Great points :-) glad you enjoyed israel.
Few comments from an Israeli who lives in the US. Breakfast- yes this is a “thing” in any Israeli hotel, food in israel in general is very very good.
Dressing modestly - yes in Jerusalem but in places like Tel Aviv it’s like any big city in the US, dress as you want. Dead Sea water, the water is poison… never drink and never put your head into the water.
All the best
I've never been to Israel. Hope to some day.
Father God thank sis Karolyn and her many more blessings in every area of their lives. Thank you Karolyn I enjoy the video this is a blessing to us all.
I'm going to Isreal in December 2023 so this is great. Thank you Karolyne.
Where in israel?
ur name explains everything..
look at her name and what karen even mean..(👩🏼)
I'm an Israeli and I want to tell you that Israel is a beautiful country.
Welcome to Israel and enjoy🇮🇱
We are planning to go around September or October this year...but still praying for it...Thank you for sharing these things! Very informative ❤
the shabbat elevator and electronics convicts me! good to know though, absolutely no electronics on sunday!
*Saturday
Thank you Karolyne!!!🥰
Thank you, God's blessings upon you and your family 🙏
I've never been to Isreal. It's on my list to go! Thank you for that information. It was very informative. Thank you. Angela ❤
What hotel did you stay?
Oh my gosh the food part of this video is my favorite have a great day God-bless you bye.❤
Nobody but the Lord....I'm going to Israel in 13 days and I had no idea you and your hubby had gone. These videos are right on time.
Glad you enjoyed your visit to Israel.
Thank You ❣️
Thank you for posting the 20 flash cards of scripture for times of temptation, mainly for lust. Have helped me the past couple weeks since learning them.
U can wear whatever u want wherever u want .
Most of us don’t wear modest clothes .
The problem is only in Jerusalem in some religious neighbourhood and holy sites of Judaism and Islam.
Hope u had a great visit 🫶🏾
I love Israel, people there where so fun.
Thanks for sharing! I hope I can visit one day! ❤✝️
You are welcome ❤
do not support israel as a christian
You can wear whatever you want maybe some places not but in tel aviv and stuff wear whatever
It's funny how people outside Israel are not used to soldiers and weapons. Because this is actually our everyday reality, that every time we go to Jerusalem for example, there are a lot of soldiers protecting us from the terrorists..
Happy you enjoyed the trip to our country 🦋
What a warped idea of what is happening. They need soldiers because of the abusive apartheid occupation of Palestine. You are confused about who the terrorists are.
Yes because Israel is Occupation by its terrorist army
Hi, I’m living in Israel and I gotta say, you can dress how you feel.
But there’s a cities that sometimes you will not feel kinda good if you don’t dress modestly like Jerusalem or Bney Brak.
I can’t eat in the morning, I have some morning anxiety or whatever. So I guess I’ll just have a donut in my room in the morning and then go out for brunch when I’m
Better 😂 I guess it’ll be lunch at 11 am for me
It's ok
Was this a cruise excursion or a resort in Israel? And where in Israel did you all visit? Tfs
No we just stayed at a hotel in Israel! The link for is it in the bio!
You just can ask if the place is kosher, in tel aviv most of them are not kosher, out side of tel aviv it dappened on the city.
1. You can eat non kosher food almost anywhere and anytime.
2. Dress normal. Religious places and neighbourhoods (Jewish, Christian or Arab) required modesty.
3. Shabbat elevators is for everyone and not so common.
4. Just wash it using one of the free beach showers.. salty water is a shock for skin cuts. But less clothes is BETTER! Free skin care.
5. Same thing at lunch and dinner.
6. Not so different than Mexico.. 😂
7. Some public buses (better choice) and privet Taxis (very expansive..) works in shabbat. Check it at the hotel or transportation apps like 'moovit'.
Happy, safe and fulfilling trip ❤
Hi Karolyne👋🏾. My family and I are really going through it regarding house cleaning standards. If you don’t mind, could you please make a video explaining your experience with housing duties? For example, explaining what the biblical standards are for a clean house, what you’ve experienced being a mom of 3 and counting, does your husband help out, etc.? This could really help me get an overall perspective of a very controversial subject🙏🏾.
Who goes to Israel and goes to pizza hut😂. I haven’t been to Pizza Hut in like 20 years 😂😂😂😂
americans lols
Haifa is a very Secular City, so...
You'll find an abundance of places and restaurants (and even a few bus lines) open for business on the Jewish Sabbath.
9:22 thats just real shit bruh
we can drink water from the tap and its not salty lol
Anything special for a German to regard, Mrs. Roberts ?
No goosesteps and no stiff arm hailing cabs.
No complaining about trains.
✅
Lol I hope u had a great time
For your first tip, a Kosher restaurant can't be open in Shabbat, so it doesn't make sense, maybe their kitchen keeps Kosher but they will not have the Kosher certificate if they are open during Shabbat
We ate there right before Shabbat started on Friday.
@@karolyneroberts Right! That makes a lot more sense now 😅
Hopefully you enjoyed your time here in Israel :)
Hahahahahah the third one made me cry. 😂😂
I from Israel
I don't think you will find Pork anywhere, not really kosher or not
I live in israel, and for start, kosher resterunts arent open in shabat. And in istael we jast dont eat pork, even if you dont eat kosher
It was on Friday before shabat officially began
@@karolyneroberts it makes more sens now...
I'm from Israel. This might be right about some specific parts of the country, in tel Aviv do whatever the hell you want we don't care.
I live in isreal for 1 more year then im going back to usa
You're talking about Jerusalem!....
In Tel Aviv and Eilat ( and other Israeli cities) you can walk outside naked ( more or less).
אני יהודי🎉
It wasn't kosher if it was in shabbat
It wasn’t Shabbat if it was a kosher restaurant. All kosher restaurants are closed on Shabbat.
I'm Israeli and I burst out laughing😂 (in a good way) and regarding kosher it's fine, only Jews are not allowed to eat non-kosher, don't feel bad ❤
Funny you said you went to a kosher restaurant in shabbat, kosher businesses are not opened in shabbat 😂
😏 thanks for the fyi
Why would you go there anyway ? Did you visit Palestine ?
do u think everybody cares about that ? its holy land
@@iObeyJesus everyone should have an opinion on it. It is the centre of western hypocracy and proves the west can't be trusted on abiding by international law.
You probably went to Jerusalem. In the rest of the country you can do whatever you want.
עשית סרטון בעברית בלי כתוביות בעברית 😢
😂 you don't wash your face with seawater, there is a shower for that.
{The Lord Jesus Christ said to the rich man that his brothers that are Jewish, only need to listen to Moses and the Prophets meaning the law and the prophet were complete already in Israel. It is the only requirements for Israel to be able to be saved from Hades. Do you wonder why Jesus did not include himself in the parable, it is because they will listen to him in his next rebirth (born again). This is the coming of their messiah. This is also because Jesus came to earth more than three times already.}
(Luke 16:22 ESV) The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried,
(Luke 16:23 ESV) and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.
(Luke 16:24 ESV) And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’
(Luke 16:25 ESV) But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.
(Luke 16:26 ESV) And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.’
(Luke 16:27 ESV) And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father's house-
(Luke 16:28 ESV) for I have five brothers-so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’
(Luke 16:29 ESV) But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’
(Luke 16:30 ESV) And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’
(Luke 16:31 ESV) He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”
You should never say Israel should not exist, they would rightly kick you out of the country.
There is no israhell land in the world for your information ..
Im from israel amazing country
Thank you 🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱❤️❤️❤️❤️
its called palestine
Prove it...
What is called palestine? The state of palestine, yes. Thats called palestine.
Universally the country is named Israel. Even if you support the free palestine movement (which I do too) and even if the movement will achieve its goals. There will still be a country called Israel, it'll just be smaller. The free palestine movement wants the illegal settlements from the six day war. Or maybe you want palestine to have all of israel even though it was decided in a democratic way in 1948 that the land is Israel's
@@AlefOhelBetZeBayit Wow at least you are not like other people that are like: "all the Israeli and Jews are evil" You said what you think in a good way, and even if I do not accept what you say you at least you said it in a good respecting way I will give you that
Israeli gestapo trying their best to sustain their brutal occupation and illegal state atm
And be ok with Apartheid.
Apartheid? Have you visited Israel?
You are a Muslim it is not surprising
@@AviLevi-fh4wp do i need to visit america to know that there was slavery in america and colonisation history of america? Also maybe let the Palestinians refugees go back to their homes instead of calling other people to visit an occupied land by an Apartheid state.
Israel believes it has the right to weed out suicide bombers. Imagine that. Palestine is a joke. They will never have a state. Palestinians even went to war with Jordan and had their asses handed to them. They have no allies, except for terrorists.
Do you even know there is apartheid, before you wrote it?
I am glad you are able to realize mistakes and actually try to adapt to Israeli society 🫶 Hope you enjoyed your trip 🥰
Kosher restaurant not open in Shabbat you liar, 🤭
CLOSE to Shabbat, fool. Probably Friday afternoon or Saturday night.
Listen.
In hotels food IS served on Shabbat.
